"Went to Esszimmer for their Sunday brunch. It starts at 12:30 to 15:00 so was more a lunch buffet. There isn't much breakfast stuff(eggs, bacon, sausages and such),but had enough different choices for lunch for us not to miss it. Starter choices with good quality cold cuts and cheeses, the mains had duck breast, nice cooked to the point fish, tafelspitze, very tender braised of cheeks and accompanying sides. The mains were much better cooked than the sides. Wok station for noodles. Good dessert variety with chocolate covered fruits, various cakes fresh crepes. These were just some of the highlights for me. There were still plenty that I didn't have room to try. At around 49 Euro per head it isn't a cheap option but that includes all drinks and us better value when compared to similar offerings in town and other hotels where drinks are on top. Seating is also nice as they have partitioned off areas with 6~7 tables so even though the restaurant is quite big, one never feels like it's overcrowded unlike the intercontinental or at the Westin. There is a separate area where a children's brunch is set up and amusements such as balloon animals available. Overall recommendable as a nice brunch place especially if you want something a little nicer but also child friendly. Slightly outside the city but worth the visit."

the restaurant offers buffet or a la carte . The a ma carte choice is not extensive but good. I took the signature dish, stak tartare and it was great.

The food is very good here. Our experience was marred by staff rudeness. We had asked to sit out side and told there was no room. When a person behind us asked the same question they were immediately seated outside.Be advised the portions are large. so do not order too much.We had breakfast the next morning and it is large and well supplied.

Wir waren am ersten Abend in diesem Hotel im Restaurant Esstisch. Der Service war undenkbar, die Speisen waren jedoch sehr lecker. Offensichtlich sehr gutes Personal in der Küche. Altbackenes Ambiente, unbequeme, alte Stühle. Das muss man nicht haben und erwartet in einem solchen Haus auch etwas anderes. Nicht zu empfehlen!Die besten Restaurants in meiner Nähe

Wir hatten einen herausragenden Abend trotz ausgebuchtem Restaurant. Die Mitarbeiter, obwohl in Unterbesetzung, waren traumhaft. Traumhaftes Essen und ein perfekt abgestimmter Wein. Die Preise sind happig, dafür ist das Essen allerdings wirklich hervorragend und der Service super. (Ein bisschen Warten aufgrund der Unterbesetzung war zu verschmerzen.
