Evans Plaice - Carta

Fish was cooked nicely, batter was very underdone just wet flour chips ok but nothing exceptional. Two hygiene stars when we visited!

I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Staying locally on holiday and decided to pop in for a fish supper, very polite staff and the fish and chips cooked to perfection. Very busy but only waited a short while for 6 meals.

As a chicken nugget connoisseur, I have to say these are THE best I have ever had. The chicken is fresh and the batter is lovely. The chips were also amazing. Most definitely recommend to anyone in the area :

Lovely chippy! My wife, my daughter, and I dropped-in at Evan's Plaice for a fish supper on our way to Borth. We dined in. Friendly staff, nice cosy dining room, tasty cod and haddock with chips, and mushy peas, reasonably priced. Would gladly recommend!

We were served small portions of stale chips that seemed to be leftovers from lunch, as we were the first customers at 5pm. Despite positive reviews, we should have listened to the negative ones. This was disappointing since I have only been getting takeout all week and have been cooking every night.

Fantastic gluten free fish and chips. All chips are fried separately and gluten free items are cooked in a separate frier. I had Beef Madras Curry and Chips which was fantastic, a first for me from a fish and chip shop. The curry was amazing and tasted home cooked. The chips were crispy and fluffy in the middle. Ver carta
