"First time to this traditional place, we only got a table in the salon not the main dining room, but it was also nice and cosy. Of course, the new chef is working to get (again) a Michelin star, and he is on the right...way. They serve traditional French food with creative elements at adequate prices for the menu) and also offer a nice wine pairing with it. Portions are on the small side, yet it was fine for us. Service was mixed. The sommelière (and chef de salle) was great, but there was another waitress who was not really up to the job in a place like this."

we enjoyed our stay in faessle not only because of the comfortable atmosphere, but also because of the delicious food. but the price of our opinion was high.

Absolutely good food, prepared to perfection, good service, good organisation pf the kitchen (we had a time limit) but not a big surprise, not a taste explosion which you probably need for a Michelin star.

Definitely worth a visit, excellent choice of local dishes and wine but at reasonable prices...additional taster dishes are complimentary and the service was exemplary. If you don't speak German though take an interpreter!

we had a place in the garden, not really a garden, but the opposite before the restaurant. the food itself is really delicious. the service could improve and was sometimes absent, if necessary, but covered it with ease that was appreciated. Total...recommend

We chose to eat at this restaurant not knowing anything about it other than it was close to our Airbnb apartment. Not only was the food some of the best we've eaten, but our server interpreted the entire menu for us from German to English,...explaining the dishes to us! Everything was perfect. The space is warm and intimate and we left feeling we had a very special experience.

A very cozy little restaurant that serves traditional foods and has good service. My wife and I both got the meal with the wine pairing and absolutely loved it! The chicken was cooked perfectly as was the beef and the fish plate. The in-between-course...dishes were creative and excellent, with my favorite being the melon-cucumber cold soup. The staff was very professional and helpful with the wines.

we celebrated an event and chose fassle for a special evening. we were satisfied with everything about the restaurant. a companion was younger with a great appetit. the selected menu did not fill them up, but they found their choices to be very tasty. I also choose the cure menu. had deaf for the main course. it was really lovely. very delicate and perfectly cooked. my other companion chose the steak and said it was great. I noticed that many people chose this. the meat content was greater than expected.

We had wanted to go elsewhere but failed to make a reservation in time so our concierge booked a table at Fässle. And we loved every bit of it! Easily accessible by public transport, the restaurant is located in a historic building in a little...side street. The set menu was varied and every single course delicious. All waiters were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to make that evening a great experience. (Don't really follow some of the criticism levelled at their service in particular We are certainly coming back next time we are in the area.

"Wow. Simply Awesome! Best dining experience my wife and I have had in several years, probably top all time, and we are real foodie snobs. They squeezed us in with only a couple hours notice. We got the course menu paired with wine....Little did we know that six courses in metric means First came the amouse bouse, a frothy chicken soup plus a croquette topped with dried mushrooms. Paired with wine of course. Then came a home made freshly baked baguette that was crazy delicious served with a dish of sour cream and chives as well as butter with pumpkin seeds. The bread was so good it could have been its own course, and the sour cream was the first of many unusual com I nations, but it worked. Next was a salad a combination of beet root, cabbage, Thai coconut milk and lemon grass. I hate beets and I loved this dish. Next wa the first actual course, duck liver pate and brioche with figs and wine sauce. Amazing! Now how about some slow cooked trout (which strongly resembled salmon) with tangerines and celery root. Then some white cod with Jerusalem artichokes and hazel nuts. Then, to cleanse the palate a glass of deer broth served in a glass like a brandy snifter. We're only halfway through. Now it's a slab of deer meat cooked like a tender steak, served with a cannelloni stuffed with deer and all set over mashed parsley root that could have passed as mashed potatoes. All garnished with an amazing deer gravy/sauce. Next comes some mont d'or cheese served with house made fruit bread, oranges, and rutabaga. Crazy com o but it was delicious. Now for dessert courses. Red wine sorbet. Think you're done? Next comes white chocolate ice cream serve with quince (purée, cubes, and foam) served with a chestnut parfait. Now we're stuffed, but time for another dessert: creme brulee paired with a chocolate brownie and a serving of mango mousse. Crazy good."
