Local café with something special: the carrot cake! They also offer Monmouth coffee, fresh bread, and ceramic items. It can get a bit busy during the week, but I see that as a positive sign! Ver carta

The food was remarkable, with the large portion of penne being huge. The service was poor, slow, headless chickens running around. I’ll definitely be back, but waiting 10 minutes to order and 10 minutes to pay for a top yo glass of wine is absurd

a beautiful little place with a warm welcome, well cooked and presented eating. fresh flowers on the table makes it even better as the reasonable prices. came well fed and content away. a little thing: the lemon in the pasta with lemon chicken seemed missing!

The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the queue was challenging, and the service could be faster; better organization is definitely needed. This café in the park is simply stunning and our favorite spot. The slow-cooked pork is restaurant-quality and costs only £7.50—what a delicious bargain! The rich chocolate cake is a delight, and the coffee is top-notch. On Sundays, there's live music in the park, which is fantastic. Plus, the staff are always friendly and helpful.

I'm not quite sure what the appeal of this place is. We arrived for breakfast and brunch at 7:30 a.m., but it turned out that almost everything on the dinner menu was displayed on a sign behind us. The service was excellent, but the food was only average and a bit unkempt. It felt like something you’d whip up at home—there was nothing special about it. I can see this being a convenient spot for those who live nearby due to its location, but I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to visit.

I haven't visited this cafe regularly, but every time I do, I've found Martin, the owner, to be incredibly friendly. He provides a welcoming space for me to get some work done. The coffee here is fantastic—definitely some of the best around. I really appreciate all the staff; they are wonderful people! The cappuccinos and lattes are absolutely worth it, especially since they're more affordable than other independent cafes in the area. The food is also delicious! My favorites are the sausage pasta and the lemon chicken salad; both are healthy and perfect for those on the go. This place deserves a solid 5 stars from me.
