"Disappointing stay here. Room was charged at £195 but was of the £80-90 quality. They can charge this much because of the scarcity of accommodation servicing the nearby Cissbury Barns wedding venue. Better use of money would be to stay in Worthing and get a taxi. Room, especially bathroom, no where near the quality required to justify the cost. Rooms: Bedding not good enough. Pillows were poor quality, and only one sheet on the bed. Bathroom had smashed tiles around the loo and the shower was in the bath. For £195 a night, customers expect a modern wet room with a walk in shower. Food drinks: Food was surprisingly good considering how average the rest of the venue was."

An absolutely wonderful place to stay or simply to eat at. My wife and I stayed here 4 years ago on our wedding night, and since been back for a wedding and also for a meal today. The service rooms and food have been amazing every time. It's just a lovely little place, slightly tucked away from traffic and noise and a nice place to get away. As for the rooms, my friend mentioned that they are very nice. There are also numerous interesting attractions in the area that come highly recommended. The hotel is well-managed, ensuring a safe environment for guests. Additionally, it's conveniently located with good access to nearby bus services. I've been told that the food and drinks are surprisingly good for a 3-star hotel, which is a bonus. Overall, it seems like a great place to consider for a stay!

Recently stayed in Kilmore room which was unfortunately dirty and run down. As soon as we walked into the room the lamp shade in the corner of the room fell off. Clearly it was broken but hadn't been replaced. We noticed a photo on the wall with a broken frame. There were dirt and dust marks in the main bedroom and bathroom. There were stains on the curtains. Parts of the bathroom were falling apart and clearly in disrepair. This place has the potential to be great if the necessary repairs are carried out. However, the staff were friendly and the location is good but for £100+ I would expect a higher standard of rooms.

"I would first like to start out by saying that this is a gorgeous little cafe, with very friendly staff and great options for everyone. I have been eating at The Orchard for a couple of years, and have loved it. I am plant based, and have always found their vegan options to be brilliant! However, last week I accidentally ate meat for the first time in 6 years due to fault of the chef. Twice in a row, I have visited and ordered a vegan) seitan Reuben sandwich, and have been served the real meat version instead, which I believe contains corned beef traditionally. Luckily for me, the first time this happened, the waitress noticed before I could even eat any, and they replaced it quickly. I understand these things do happen, and am a big believer in second chances, so I went back recently. I ordered the same sandwich, and took 3 mouthfuls before realising something tasted unfamiliar, so I checked inside and found real meat. I was devastated when I realised, and so was the waitress and manager. The manager refunded our total bill, and was incredibly apologetic and mortified that it had happened. I know this wasn't any fault of the front of house staff they listened carefully. I feel like I can't go back, unfortunately, as I can't risk eating meat again. And I'm really sad that's the case, because this was one of my favourite spots to eat and I'll miss it so, so much!! I hate to rate a small business poorly, but I really felt I needed to warn any non meat eaters, as I can only imagine how much more devastating it would be if this happened to someone that gave up meat for religious or allergy reasons. If you eat meat then there's no need to worry, as this place is fantastic otherwise. If the cafe replaces their chef then I would love to come back one day... :"
