Large group of turned up but didn’t phase them at all. Had fantastic meal including the best poached eggs ever. Staff were friendly and chatty. Great music selection we will be back that’s for sure

Great food at reasonable prices, my toastie was delicious, lots of filling and came with tortillas and side salad, additional chips were a good sized portion. Cappuccino was average and too milky for my taste. Fantastic views.

Finery Bay Cafe is located only a few minutes from Millport. Excellent food, service and atmosphere (even the music was excellent). I had the maple syrup and bacon pancakes and my wife the lamb kofta tornado- both really good! I'd recommend it to anyone, locals and visitors alike! Ver carta

Stopped off when cycling around the island. What a fabulous place. Out door area is lovely. They have hammocks, an area for some cool photo opportunities and sheltered outdoor seating decorated in a Boho style. Inside was very inviting also. Delicious food which was very nicely presented. Portions were large and service was good. View is spectacular!

This restaurant has the potential to be amazing with its great location, friendly staff, quirky interior, and excellent outdoor facilities. However, the food was disappointing as it tasted strange, possibly due to the fryers not being cleaned properly. The toasties seemed to be cooked with the same 'substance' as the fryers, leading to a less than enjoyable dining experience. Overall, I decided to leave without mentioning the issue to the staff.

I visited this cafe for the second time and once again, I was disappointed. I will not be giving it another chance. The hotdogs were cold and served on stale bread. The baguettes were also stale and did not taste freshly made. The outside area was dirty with rubbish lying around. Food should never be served cold or stale, and customers should not have to return food due to bad hygiene. It is important to serve high-quality food from the beginning. Ver carta

Needed a wee ice cream hit and nowhere along the sea front seemed to have anything decent apart from the usual boring freezer choices that you would find in any newsagents. Was recommended this place by the wee chocolate shop on the sea front. Lovely selection of ice creams available in cones or tubs by the scoop. Settled for Pistachio, Scottish Tablet, Mint Choc Chip and Salted Caramel. Reasonably priced and great setting with a view to die for! Definitely recommend, be a great place to stop for lunch and a coffee too!

Today’s lunch at Fintry Bay ‘Restaurant’. First we were told that we couldn’t order from the restaurant menu inside and eat outside. There was no obvious way of getting my Mum’s wheelchair inside. At the outside serving window we were told there were no fillings for their ‘Filled Baguettes’ so opted for the sublimely presented ‘Hot Dog’, ‘Americano’ and a portion of chips for the princely sum of £11.25. Had to ask for ketchup as the only bottle visible was empty. The chap I assume was the owner had an air of ‘can’t be arsed’ probably more important to make sure their convertible advert was parked blocking the only dropped kerb making wheelchair access more difficult #whydotheybother #wontbeb...

AMAZING! This restaurant is fantastic with very friendly and welcoming staff. We took a walk from Millport (with my partner suffering from gout but still hoping to see dolphins or porpoises) and Fintry Bay was a beautiful sight! The staff were engaging and the view across the water was mesmerizing. The food was also incredible! I had a spicy tofu tortada which was so delicious that I wanted to order it again right away if I could. It had the perfect level of spiciness and the staff made sure to check if I was vegan before serving me, which I appreciated. My partner couldn't stop making happy sounds while eating his meal.
