I was surprised by the low rating; dining here is actually quite enjoyable. I usually stick to the burger, and I've never been disappointed with it.

Incredible Sunday roast, one of the best I've had in a long long time. The goats cheese mouse starter was also amazing, and the banana bread and butter pudding was light and fluffy but decadent and delicious! A definite must for a visit, and the best roast in Wimbledon hands down Ver carta

This restaurant turned out to be a great spot to watch the Champions League finale, all while enjoying the company of my female friend. The food was outstanding, featuring a selection of exquisite dishes that left me too full for dessert. It's a fantastic venue for summer gatherings.

Lovely pub with french windows that open out to give a nice airy feel during the day (I definitely want to come back here in summer when I'll get to enjoy it in the warm daytime). The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the food we tried was good. Will definitely be coming back again.

Great vibe in this lovely pub tucked away in a side street in Wimbledon Village. My steak was perfect! Solid wine selection and lovely service. The Eton Mess was fabulous. Love that Fire Stables also admits furry four legged patrons. I've been twice now and I'll definitely be back again soon I need to try breakfast here next! Highly recommend Ver carta

We came in on Christmas Eve for lunch. The service was GREAT. From the warm welcome when we arrived through to the attentiveness of the waiting staff. We'd like to give special thanks to the guy who made our coffee Daniel I think his name is and boy does he make a good cappuccino! Thanks to all the hardworking floor staff, great service. This is a lengthy blog post I’ve been meaning to write since last summer. However, since it's about a Sunday roast, it feels more fitting now that we are in winter, when a hearty, comforting meal is exactly what we need. While I refer to it as a roast, it was actually a combination of fried dishes and seafood. That being said, I stand by my declaration.

Service was perfect! The woman who met us was polite and promptly found us a table despite not having a reservation (which I think is preferred), brought the menus and provided water without any fuss. Our waiter was excellent! Whilst taking our order, he answered all of our questions in regards to ingredients and allergies and was able to accommodate the children's requests for changes from both the regular and kids menus. The food was enjoyed by all: roasted camembert chutney, salmon cakes, burgers and roast chicken lunches. The decoration was a little more up market than a regular pub, super comfy and pretty cool.
