"I was recently in Cologne, staying very close to this restaurant. I was walking by and noticed all this seafood in a case. I went in with my friend and saw that they sell fish as a fish market but also is a restaurant and cooks whatever you seafood they sell. They cook it Greek style, and man is this place good. With your pick of seafood, you can pick three different salads. The first day I had the baby calamari, with Greek salad, eggplant, onions. The calamari was cooked to perfection. The texture had the appropriate rebound but melted in your mouth. The sauce was not too salty and had a lot of complexity. The next day, I saw a very fresh looking white fish and asked what it was. With my substandard German and non-existent Greek, I think it was a Ling Cod. The person selling the fish said this is the " Best fish we have today ". "Best" meaning fresh or best tasting I don't know but you know what, it was fantastic! Flaky, soft, moist, smooth. You pick up a drinks or beer from a refrigerator and walk up to order and pay. I have had seafood in San Francisco, New York, New Orleans, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, New Zealand. This is a real find and is so reasonably priced. A real find"

Yummm! No fresher fish to be found and excellently prepared. Try the fischmix and a Gaffel Kölsch no better lunch at such a great price. Alas they are not open for dinner...

is a small family business in the middle of the city. there are baked fish and other meal fresh homemade so that the lunch table is always very well visited. I personally didn't eat lunch too, but only bought my fresh fish there. the selection is great even if the fish is not always fresh. but about the fresh and quality of the fish nothing can be said negatively. the sellers are always very polite and offer competent advice. I'd like to go there.
