Very good lunch after visiting the Chine , could recommend the crab salad, the fish and chips was good as well. Nice friendly service.

Food excellent and well presented. Located at the end of Shanklin beach at the bottom of Shanklin Chine. Lovely location. Very atmospheric.

Went here after a visit to Shanklin Chine. We had the fish pie which was amazing and one of the best we have had. The seating is close to the beach which is nice. We can recommend this place for great food.

Located right on the beachfront, this restaurant offers a delightful setting. The interior of the inn exudes a lovely atmosphere and contains interesting historical information about the cottage. The food served was of high quality, and I highly recommend the Moules marinière.

This restaurant is a fantastic option for a satisfying lunch with beautiful ocean views. We ordered appetizers and main dishes and were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes. Nestling on the seafront we spotted this on arrival and had to visit before we left. We were very glad we did. We got a lovely welcome from both the serving lady and the chap behind the bar. There are seats outside to enjoy the sea air but we sat inside as it was a bit breezy. We loved the decor. The beer was really nice and we were knocked out by the amount of crab on our sandwiches.

We holiday on the IOW twice a year and have always dined at this restaurant for the past few years so it was disappointing that after being given the menu and having 20 minutes to peruse the menu, the staff member said there wasn’t any Spaghetti fish available so had to hurriedly choose another dish which was fish pie overloaded with greasy cheese. I’m hoping for better next May when we return.

Located at the far end of Shanklin seafront, below the Chines, this restaurant was a hidden gem. We went for dinner and enjoyed the lovely food and atmosphere. I started with the Goats cheese and had Seafood spaghetti for my main, while my wife had Tiger prawns followed by fish & chips. All of the dishes were delicious. The restaurant was able to accommodate our pram, and the changing facilities were convenient. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant. Ver carta
