The food at this restaurant is consistently good, although the ambience may be lacking. However, the main attraction here is definitely the food, so don't let the ambience deter you from trying their delicious dishes.

We arrived promptly and there were very few customers. The table next to us were served before us eventhough they ordered after us. We waited 40 minutes for our food. We only ordered a main course. The staff were very helpful with my intolerances.

Not brilliant! My friend had rather chewy fish that she didn’t finish and my cappuccino brûlée had some bizarre salty syrup poured over it. However the waitress was smart and efficient and sorted things out swiftly and smoothly. Unsure whether I will go again, it’s not cheap and the Sheekys of this world aren’t hugely more expensive Ver carta

They did not have any oysters left which was a big disappointment. We went with the halibut fish n’chips hoping for a new taste compared to the traditional codfish or haddock. The fish was delicious but we found the crust to be a bit too greasy. We had a similar dish recently at another restaurant that was so much more delicately done and more tasty. The service was a bit odd lacking in friendliness and we had a hard time understanding the waitress.

I have been a loyal patron of Fishworks for a considerable amount of time, but I regret to report that my most recent visit did not meet my expectations. The food and service fell short of the usual standard, but I see this as an opportunity for growth. I suggest that the Fishworks team focus on enhancing their service and food quality to uphold their reputation for consistency. I am hopeful for my next visit, anticipating the exceptional service and delicious food that I have come to expect and cherish from Fishworks.

It wasn't a great start when we weren't offered a childrens menu for our daughter, when we asked if they had one we were asked her age, she was sat at the table with us and they could clearly see she was of young age. once we ordered it had been 15-20 mins and our drinks hadnt arrived, when we chased it up they hadn't even put the water through. Daughters juice wasn't even chilled and no ice with it. The wine eventually arrived after the starters. No one really asked how the food was, scallops and soup for starter were ok, I has the seafood linguine for main, i can only describe it as too much tomato and lacked any seasoning. They then included £20 service charge, we have no issue with payin... Ver carta
