Food quality variable sashimi was lovely but don’t get the corn tempura. Also the chips were bad. However service and drinks were great.

Absolutely amazing service! We went after the theatre and were running late as the show went over, but we called them and they kept the restaurant open late especially for us! the only ones in there! such delicious food, and the staff were so kind throughout it all. definitely will be going back! The food was ok (some dishes not hot) but some of the prices are outrageous for what actually gets delivered to you (beef short rib) and there was hardly any sauce for the main or any side bits such as pickles. The service was also poor, staff really need training up and seemed like zombies plates didn’t get cleared and then our mains came and nobody had cleared the starters for ages. People next to us complained as they got their starter after main. Think flesh and bun are missing a trick if they just got their service and portion sizes right!

While the service was very good from a very accommodating receptionist to the waiters, the rest of our restaurant experience (for three) was very hit and miss! While the cooked food is good AVOID the sushi at all costs Cheap fish with skin still on, likely with inadequate refrigeration, we couldn’t stomach the sashimi at all for fear of becoming ill. We would hope our experience could be put down to a bad night, but no restaurant should ever be serving such poor quality (dull, slimy sashimi with a very fishy taste typical of substandard quality) wholly unacceptable!

This was my first visit to Flesh and Buns and I would definitely be bringing other people here. The service is top notch. They were so accommodating when we were going to be late whereas other places might get funny about it. The food was amazing. It was so quick to the table and it tasted absolutely delicious. The only negative when it comes to the food I could say is that the beef that my friend got was a tad overcooked and a little tough but the Japanese chicken that I had was delicious. The portion sizes are very good as well. Cocktails are a little expensive but that is London pricing for you. They were really nice. Deadly because you can drink them like water.
