Fantastic meal this evening . Food was great, service was excellent. Absolutely loved the starters and curry we had. Quick and efficient service

This is by far the best curry for either a sit down or takeaway. The taste is amazing. I have not tasted such fragrant and wonderful Indian dishes.

We have just spent a week in Hythe on holiday with our children and really enjoyed the food from Forest Spice . Certainly worth a visit or a take away. Ver carta

The food was mediocre and lukewarm. The owner was unpleasant and abrupt when closing just before 11 on a Saturday night. Around 16 people in the restaurant also noticed his rude behavior. Unfortunately, I won't be returning after this experience.

Another visit to one of my favourite family run restaurants. Can’t believe they have been here over 20 years now. Testament to their hard work and building up loyal, local customers. Found a new favourite dish which is the Tamarind. Always have to have the Jalfrezi. Mouthwatering as I write this. Very reasonable prices as always. Already planning next visit.

As a local that uses most of Hythe’s takeaways I was bitterly disappointed by tonight’s offering from Forest Spice. For the first time ever the food from this establishment was bland and uninspiring. The meat was dry and hard, the Bombay potato was a dull yellow colour with absolutely no spice or tomato in its flavouring. The samosas were dripping with grease and most of the meal ended up in the bin. I really hope this was a one off bad night but it will be sometime before I go back there. Ver carta

After reading the reviews, we decided to visit this restaurant as our first choice was closed. The restaurant is stylish, modern, and has a nice ambiance. It appeared to be popular because of the number of people seeking tables and getting takeout orders. However, we were disappointed with the food, as it lacked flavor and was quite tasteless. It could have been an off night, but since I was only in the area for one evening, I won't have the opportunity to see if this is not the usual standard.

I went to ask for a table for one. I was told that it was not possible as there was avlarge booking. I had been told this on a previous occasion when I asked for a table for one. I went to a restaurant opposite and had a meal. When I came out, there was no sign of the large booking that I had been told about, so they could have served me. I went in and challenged the man there. He told me they were coming soon. I told him that I am a champion of thevrigh5s of the single person and that he was discriminating. He dismissed my claim. I went back a while later, still mo sign of this jarge party.

I visited this restaurant with a couple of my old school friends for a reunion. It had been 30 years since I last visited when I lived down south, so it must be doing something right to still be in business. The food was excellent and the menu was very diverse, offering dishes that I had never tried before in all the Indian restaurants I have visited over the years. The service was great, and they even provided us with reading glasses to help us read the menu since we are all getting older. The only downside was that it got a bit noisy, and I typically dislike noisy restaurants. We were seated downstairs in a small room, but it was a Friday night and the drinks were flowing. Ver carta
