Forest Tandoori - Carta

This is a friendly place with great food! Nice atmosphere, staff very friendly, we had a nice dinner with a group of friends.

5/5 fanatic night. Food and staff amazing. 100% recommend the restaurant. We had our Christmas party here, all 10 us us totally agreed brilliant all round.

We enjoyed a very family friendly meal in the early evening. We will definitely eat here again when we are back in Walthamstow. Great service Ronni was a helpful and polite waiter. Service with a smile. The food was tasty and great portion size. We boxed up the food we couldn’t eat and enjoyed it at home again!

The waiter Ronnie was extremely welcoming and escorted me to my table. I ordered the chicken Tikka Masala with Mushroom rice, which arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. I had not been to this restaurant since I moved away from the area 10 years ago, and I am happy to say that it still maintains its high standards.

We had a wonderful curry , the food was delicious flavoursome and fresh . The waiter was extremely attentive and endeavoured to match our taste preferences to each dish. The restaurant has no license so we just collected wine and beer across the road at the brewery also lovely . I left a review on Just Eat and the next day they left a note hanging on my door while I was at work all day, asking me to call them. This made it seem like I was out all day to anyone passing by, which really annoyed me. As a result, I am giving them a one-star rating. If they want to make customers happy, they should provide a good meal considering the amount we pay for it.

After taking a break from Forest Tandoori due to better options elsewhere, we decided to give it another chance last night. We were pleasantly surprised to find that both the food and service had greatly improved. The dishes we ordered were delicious and beautifully prepared. The friendly and helpful staff made our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I came here with my family Saturday evening for dinner. We had a friendly reception and were seated at a nice table. We had poppadoms to start, which were lovely. We had prawn dishes and a mixed Biriani and chicken dansak with rice and naan bread. The food was very good indeed. A big bonus is that you can bring your own wine with just £1.50 each corkage so that’s an excellent feature of the restaurant. I live locally so I think I am very lucky to have such a good restaurant close by and I would encourage locals to support the business as much as possible.
