"I was rejected last night service and removed from this restaurant after being banned by the manager in 2017 to break a stem of a flower because I was very upset and upset when he was extremely rude and he had ordered his associates. to ignore me while serving the table because I had returned a court that was unusable at a previous visit. After posting a review in 2017, he answered and lied that I distended the place, he said I always complained about my chickenerticka to get a free drink. I've never had a free drink before, and I'm not eating a chicken! so last night was holy evening and should be a busy dec evening and they have an empty restaurant. they would think now they would have forgiven me that I broke a flower 4 years ago and would be happy to have some customers. I am not surprised that this place is dead when this is the kind of service they receive. my friend asked me to go back as if I liked her, but she was upset when she was thrown out. when it happened, we went to the Italian and it was really busy and full of happy workers."

I've not been impressed with some of the meat based signature or specialist dishes, but the vegetarian options are exceptional! Very good.

I think it was what we ate in this restaurant. I'll never go back.

First time visit to forts of India staff where really friendly and the food was absolutely beautiful we had two poppadoms to start alongside some chicken pakora to share I then had honey chilli chicken for my main with pilau rice and a chapati and...my partner had chicken tiki masala with a chapati also and we absolutely pleased with the food. Thank you will definitely return.

I decided to revisit after many years thinking it was the same standard. How wrong I was. Service was terrible. Starter was bland and tasteless Waited ages for the mains curry was hotter than the Madras I ordered The wife had roast chicken which was...under cooked and tasteless probably frozen. Asked for bill which was expensive for the Quality. Then I was pressed to tip them. No chance I won't be returning here to a established that is all fur coat and no knickers

My granddaughter and her boyfriend have Been this restaurant many times. Last week they booked a table and were looking forward to a lovely evening great food and a few drinks. Unfortunately after ordering food and having one round of drinks served. They were...informed that as they were not 21 they would not be served alcohol! (They are 29 20 years old and have IS) When asked if they could cancel the food they were told no. When the food did come they said it was the worst they have had. They will certainly not be returning. As neither will we. Ver carta

we went to an early evening meal. eating took absolutely ages, the workers were distracted and rude to complete it, eating was disgusting! the appetizers were significantly reheated, the herbal curry tasted like the frozen finished dishes at...Asda! the chicken ktikka curry of my man was unusable because the smell was so unusable. to finish everything, so expensive for a terrible meal that it could not even take off in a local chippy. I eat every week Indian food, and this is the WORST menu I've ever had! avoid at all costs, as others have already pointed out.

Where do I start. Food. That’s what I went for. Really poor quality. Totally tasteless. Bland, and quality of the produce evidently apparent to be frozen. Ordered the veg platter to start. I’m pretty confident it was all pre-made frozen items that were fried and...sent out. Mains, we found to be very high in salt content. Very tasteless and disappointing! If you want to go to an Indian for Indian food, this is not the place Service. Very chaotic. No waiter was assigned to our table. Clearly lack of communication between them as once we were asked something, another waiter would come and ask the same question. If they just slowed down a little they might actually achieve more. The most disapp...

"Well, it 's been a while since I 've reviewed a place but this little gem has certainly reawakened my vigour for it. Visited this evening as a kind of belated birthday celebration with my husband and son and very glad we did indeed. We happened upon this place a few weeks back (passing by and grabbing a cocktail after the days plans fell through and instantly took to the place and it 's wonderful staff and from the off had intentions to visit again an so finally did tonight), within seconds of seating ourself at the bar we were remembered by the owners, which to me shows great calibre on the customer service front. As someone with an exceptionally sweet tooth when it comes to alcohol it was our lucky day to find they had cocktails on 2for£10 and hell can the owner Jo mix like a minx (even doing us an off menu blend to account for tastes). The husband not being a big drinker happily sat at the bar chatting with staff and customers nursing his Peroni whilst me and my son dived headlong into the extensive classical and modern mixed cocktail list. Having been lured into great expectations (previously sampling delicious tasters) from Jo 's lovely husband Dave on our first brief visit we were definitely eagerly placed to dive into dinner tonight. Our lovely waitress Sian, stood patiently while we chopped and changed idea 's and orders, laughed with us, checked regularly everything was to our tastes as did the other young waitress that dropped drinks over to us. Both girls portraying the perfect mix of friendly and professional, a refreshing change to be served by people that clearly enjoy their working environment. And on to the food... we started with olives (and boy was it a substantial portion in comparison with some establishments weak efforts), hubby was first in there, impressed with the quality of marinade (too many places these days forget the little efforts like this thinking folk can 't differentiate something tipped out of a supermarket packet). After much debate (I had my eye on far too many dishes) choices were made, Hubby had the Filo Kefta, which had a light pastry, adequate spice and smoothly complimentary dip, for main he went with the day 's Special of Lamb with fondant potato, heritage carrots and a divinely velvety Jus which he thoroughly enjoyed (and he 's hard to please, being well versed himself and making a point of getting the lovely Chef Darren a glass of wine in appreciation). The lad had a Sirloin steak burger cooked medium rare and is now demanding we visit again soon. lol I went with the Gravlax to start, instantly aware of the clean flavour from its curing cutting through (I even brought a titbit home for my kitty to enjoy), as for main, I 'd initially had my mind on fish but upon discovering the owner Jo was also a blue steak lover I had to try one there and wow they really take care in choosing their suppliers because that was an A grade cut of meat, even my son (who prefers medium-rare) upon trying a slice said it was an exceptional piece of meat I had it with asparagus, no sauce and swapped out the chips for a feta/pepper bowl which worked perfectly as did the glass of Shiraz that Jo picked out to compliment it for me. Genuinely I can not pick fault (read through my other reviews I write honestly, pick fault where warranted and compliment where due). Had this lovely little find been in our usual local it would surely become a regular haunt ours for sure. I would 100% recommend this place and extend our gratitude to all the staff for making our entire visit memorable and perfect."
