Four Seasons - Carta

Waited over an hour for toasted sandwich and cake. Don’t mind waiting for good food but that was to long.Not enough staff on and the food was mediocre.

Great breakfast and service excellent, food good value as well. However…..£3.69 for ‘tea for two’ one cup each and one tea bag! Takes the shine off the visit completely.

Visited today to get a take away cake, staff where more interested in clearing cardboard boxes away then serving customers, very slow service . Also it looks like a greenhouse inside the restaurant with the amount of plastic screens up. That achieves nothing when you have to queue for you food so long We used to love this place Ver carta

Three of us called in here today for lunch today,they were quite busy,we didn't wait long for our meals,I had Haddock chips garden peas,my husband had pie,chips and peas,my son had a Bacon cheese burger and chips,all meals were piping hot and we all enjoyed them,Screens were up around us so felt safe.Staff were polite and efficient,we will return.Thank you.

I used to enjoy stopping at this restaurant after a walk to sit outside for lunch with my dog. Unfortunately, dogs are no longer allowed inside or outside. Since we always bring our dog with us, we will be taking our business to the dog-friendly places in Sleaford that welcome pets both indoors and outdoors. We will also be visiting a nearby garden centre where our dog is also welcome. It's disappointing to see places like this being so unfriendly towards dogs.

Called in today to buy a Christmas tree and decided to stop for lunch,we easily found a table as wasn't too busy at around 1pm,saw they were doing a Christmas dinner so myself and my husband opted for it.waited about 15 minutes and was served our food,we were pleasantly surprised as it was all home made,nothing on it was frozen or out of a bag,the meal was delicious we thoroughly enjoyed it,I thanked the waiting staff as we were leaving to compliment the kitchen staff. We haven't eaten here for a couple of years, as we always found it overrated overpriced previously, but gave it another chance as Sleaford town was so busy this morning. The lady (Clariza? taking our order at the till was so welcoming, pleasant and helpful if she's not a permanent member of staff, she really needs to be! Our bacon was cooked perfectly crispy as we had asked for, hash brown not greasy, in fact all of the food was great. We will certainly visit again in the near future.

As former regular visitors to the area, we always used to enjoy Sunday Lunch at this restaurant before Covid. We would often recommend it to our family and friends. However, on our recent visit after a long time away, we were disappointed. We ordered the Steak Pie for Sunday Lunch and not only did we have to wait over 30 minutes for our order to arrive, but the steak pie itself had changed. The pastry was now flaky and crumbly, rather than the lovely solid shortcrust pastry we remembered. While the meal was okay, it was not as enjoyable as it used to be. Unfortunately, we do not think we will be returning in the future.

I used to really enjoy the steak pie at this restaurant, but on a recent visit after a long time, I was disappointed to find that the pie had a flimsy, flaky pastry top instead of the traditional shortcrust pastry that I love. While the meat in the dish was flavorful, it felt more like a stew than a traditional pie filling. The mashed potatoes were also disappointing, with a lumpy texture and a strange taste and color. At nearly 10.00 per person, I didn't feel like it was good value for money. I will definitely be trying something different next time. However, the staff were friendly and pleasant, so not all was bad about the experience. Ver carta
