Great place! Food was amazing, I tried the risotto and gnocchi both very good. Personal is lovely.

if you want pasta or pizza in nice surroundings, option to eat outside in summer or just read the paper and have some nice coffee and cake, i would recommend this place.

Rustic feel, decent food and friendly service. A child friendly perennial favourite. Normally a 2 for 1 deal available online, or voucher given with your bill for the next time.

As someone that grew up in Maidenhead, it's sad for me to have to admit that when it comes to eating out, the options are not particularly inspiring, but Francescos is always there, like an old friend, offering up good quality Italian foot for very reasonable prices. I would definitely come here over the alternatives, such as Prezzo and Pizza Express. The menu is far wider ranging, and the atmosphere is very friendly and more authentic than the chain restaurants.

We stopped in for a dinner for a client meeting.... Francesco's is conveniently located in Maidenhead town center , we were able to walk from our hotel. We chose to have appetizers and an entree... my colleagues had spaghetti cabonara , we all though it was marvelous.. I had the risotto and it was great too.... however the goat cheese appetizer was the hit of the evening... this is a very cozy and quaint restaurant, we thoroughly enjoyed the service and the meal...

Do not judge the book by its cover. The outside might not look too appealing, but the inside is very Italian and cosy and the food is really good. I have been twice now with my colleagues and all have gone a few times in different occasions and they all agreed the food has never been anything but good. There is also a lot to chose from: pasta, gnocchi, pizzas, antipasti, calzones, risotto and even a couple of dishes with meat and fish. Top tip: if you like calamari, order them here.

We were looking for a place in maidenhead that served good food, had good atmosphere and, participated in a little festive cheer, especially as we wanted to escape the crowds hanging around after the seasonal shop, and the biting cold. We approached a few restaurants, some were deserted, the staff in another one didn't even approach us to be seated, even after mulling around for 5 minutes in the foyer making faces at a waitress, showing distress and growing impatience, we left, grumpily. And then we found this gem. Beauty!! From the moment we walked in and were greeted with a smile, seated and offered drinks..
