"I ate at this place regularly over a period of 5 years. Last time I was there, we arrived, picked a table and sat down... No one spoke to us and staff ignored us for about 15 minutes while serving everyone around us. Eventually, I managed to get someone 's attention and asked if we could have the menu. This person turned out to be the place 's owner who, very rudely, in an aggressive tone of voice, told us that it was normal to ask for a table instead of just sitting down. I pointed out that this might be the case now (it certainly wasn 't an issue before) but we couldn 't know because there was no sign, and it wasn 't normal , i.e. implying that we weren 't normal for not waiting to be seated without any indication that this was required. He responded by stating this is my place. I make the rules . So we left. Apparently the staff was willingly punishing us for not following the rules (of which we couldn 't know) by ignoring us like a bunch of 5-year-olds. Addio, La Bionda! I 'm certainly not going to give any more of my money to these people."

Vitelli Tonato was excellent. The pasta was also great. The red wine, unfortunately, is too expensive. The noise level so high that a conversation at the end seemed almost impossible.

I will keep it short: It's not with a visit. I wrote a glowing review some years ago when I was a regular, living in the neighbourhood. Now, after coming back looking for a nice moment of nostalgia I'm disappointed: the atmosphere lost the personal charm, the pizza lost the grandezza, the daily specials lost their originality, the wine offering lost the personal recommendations and willingness to open a bottle and serve specials by a glass. There must be a new owner. Where is the old one?
