Freshwater Inn - Carta

We ate here for lunch and the vegan menu was very good. I had a Thai curry cake and my husband had a vegan burger. They also had other options. There were about 6 vegan options.

The staff was great and squeezed us in without a booking, although they had a big party. Good choice of main meal times. I had the tagine that was beautiful. Appalling. The fish and chips came almost certainly out of the freezer, maybe from Tescos or similar, and the lamb tagine was cooked by someone who had vaguely heard of spicy Mediterranean food. Lamb in spiced gravy and not good. The staff was nice enough, but had the charisma of a potato. Even the puddings/ Afters were barely above low average. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

A fantastic birthday meal for a very large group that other local restaurants don't seem to be able to cater for. The varied menu had something for everyone. A super meal with our young children. Very tasty home cooked food (we had veggie/vegan options of which there was a large choice), generous portions and friendly service. Well, with the onset of winter and the bulk of the holidaymakers long gone, we enjoyed a lovely evening at the Freshwater Inn. The food as always was excellent and the service was equally impressive with Richard and Carole excellent hosts. While others make pretentious claims of being the best in the world, here you can rely on good old fashioned service, quality food and an excellent ambience in one of the finest locations in Pembrokeshire. Highly recommended.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The greeting is friendly, the food is deliciously prepared. We tried the grilled fish and it was cooked perfectly - so moist and flavorful. It's a mystery to me how they do it, but it's truly exceptional! Today was extra special as we were the first ones to order and the chef suggested we could have their delicious chips instead of their usual new potatoes. As someone who is gluten intolerant, I feel completely safe dining here as the staff are knowledgeable and understanding of my dietary restrictions. It's always a pleasure to return to this wonderful place.

Another fantastic experience at the Freshwater Inn! We've been coming here for years as not only is the food, staff and service fabulous they're dog friendly too. Can't recommend this place enough I'm coeliac, my parents aren't. We've been fortunate enough to have eaten in a wide variety of restaurants covering food from all over the world. The Freshwater Inn offers good quality food, cooked well in a beautiful setting. The views over Freshwater are spectacular, especially in the evening. Good choice of wine, local breweries and soft drinks. Dietary restrictions: I'm coeliac and have felt incredibly supported as the staff are well versed on the ingredients of each meal, when they don't know... Ver carta
