"Called at 7pm to place an order for delivery. Was told there would be a 90min wait. No problems. Food was supposed to be delivered by 2030ish. By 2100 we was really hungry and had called to find out when the delivery was due. Was told the driver was on his way. 20 mins later still no delivery so rang again and was told the driver had left but the delivery slip had blown away so he had returned to the restaurant again but he was now once again on his way. At 2130 our order finally arrived. On a positive note the food was delicious and hot. Sadly let down by the lack of timing on the delivery. If you want a takeaway from here, go to there and collect yourself. Don’t rely on the delivery times."

I've tried a few places in Westgate Margate but we always come back to Friendly House. The smoked chicken is amazing the staff are lovely.

The manager was warm and welcoming. Food, amazing. We were given the right attention, correct order and even complimentary offerings given. Most satisfying.

Ordered a takeaway at 5.30pm still waiting for it at 7.40pm tried phoning several times to see where food is phone constantly engaged won’t ever order from here again

Great service, always a bit of a wait for delivery but for me shows its popularity! Hot, yummy food everytime, would definitely recommend. Just please dont run out of prawn crackers! Used to visit another place in Westgate, never again!

Disappointed generally. Food wasn't as good as it normally is, and the fact that most dishes have gone up by about 50p each dish and you get less In each, my special chow mein had one piece of chicken in it! Even having the normal menu had to pay their new menu prices. Normally good but not worth the money now, won't be ordering again for a while

Ordered at 18:15, told 45 minute delivery. 1 hour 45 minutes later still told on its way, asked to cancel order told yep no prob, no apology. Delivery arrived 2 hours later driver didn’t know it was cancelled. We still didn’t take the food. Would rather know it’s a long wait but company don’t want to lose business by being honest! Not good enough.

This is the second time we have had food from this chinese takeaway, and both times the food was really tasty, it has been difficult to find a good chinese, but now we have found this one, I don't think we will be going anywhere else, and what a bonus they deliver what more can you want. I can definitely recommend this takeaway. In closing the food is good, delivered hot and the staff are really friendly what more can you want.
