"A gem tucked away by the old bridge. He had a cream tea I had a warm cheese scone and a cinnamon topped cappuccino. Not badly priced and served by lovely ladies . It wasn't busy when we arrived so had a bench in courtyard and enjoyed the ambience. We had a walk around through the arch and it was so peaceful the trees are beautiful and I imagined stepping back into the history of bromham . You can take a walk through the old place look at the old Mill and how it all worked years ago. There's art and crafts for sale and they serve snacks and drinks at very reasonable prices. Lovely for children to explore and if you want to take a look at the river and weir it's over the old bridge lovely pics to be taken. A beautiful piece of old Bedfordshire history"

It's worth nothing that this café is no longer run by Friends of Bromham Mill, I believe instead it's run by the council?

This was a lovely setting to have a hot drink and a piece of cake. Good service clean and a good shop to view some art pieces.

Lovely location by the river. Sweet craft/gift shop. The great mill breakfast was filling and tasty! We didn't have room for the homemade coconut cake so we took two slices home! Ver carta

I booked for a work gathering on a Friday afternoon for 15 people, with tea/coffee and cake. We were given a lovely laid up long table in the gallery up stairs and the service was brilliant....nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return and everyone appreciated our surroundings.

The whole breakfast was microwaved, sausages, bacon, hash browns, over cooked eggs, the only thing they didn’t mess up were the beans, oh wait they were bad aswell. I wouldn’t feed them sausages to my dog. They were like eating a banana with the skin on. £10 for a microwave breakfast, you must be joking me!

Very friendly service, an array of homemade cakes and other prepared food available. Not the greatest coffee, machine coffee and not a barista, but both the pastry and bacon bap were lovely. Lots of outside seating available, situated next to the river or the play area if you have children. A great little cafe. Ver carta

A huge group of cyclists had descended on them and although noisy they managed to feed them and manage when we came in later that day. The quiche salad was good and praise given to the tasty tuna and cheese It would have been nice if there had been a little more room and the salad was a little small but overall a friendly place with helpful efficient staff Thanks

Well we have finally given up with this place after our last two visits were a nhtmare and they asked us to give them another try we reluctantly tried it again today at 2-15, thought we wud get a light lunch, queued up for 18 mins with only two other people in front of us, its so disorganised and unprofessional, the person taking orders then proceeds to get the orders leaving people in the queue just waiting waiting, then wen U get to the counter you are told sorry lunch food is finished,. Why no sign out in the car park,,?? why not just quickly mention it to people as they join the queue???Oh no thats too easySo left again hungry and frustrated at the total lack of customer service and care...

"this use to an old favorite restaurant of us many years ago before it changed the hands. we saw the alex polizzi TV program, but since then did not have the opportunity to visit. we have booked online. when we arrived, I tried to explain that we had reserved online, but the waitress did not seem disturbed, nor did she check. she wanted to tell us that the pizza oven didn't work so there were no pizzas or garlic bread etc. it was good to say before we came to our table and we appreciate it. the food was excellent and the chef came out a few times to check that everyone enjoys his meals, which was a very nice note. the waitresses were very pleasant, but seemed to have confidence in what they did. there were some confusion about our weeping mission, which was our fault. we were not offered when we arrived, and it was only after they came for our food order that we could ask for drinks. there was a pretty wait for our appetizers (tomatenbruschetta and mushroom bruschetta) and then the main dishes (tomatenwurst al forno and lasagne), but if that is what it takes to prepare the excellent food we enjoyed, then it is worth it. we also think that we are too familiar with restaurants that almost food of not particularly good quality. overall a very good experience and we will return. Perhaps the waitress could do with a little, but more workout to improve her confidence."
