"On a Friday night, I wanted to go to dinner with three good friends. The choice fell to Dionysos. I was against Greek food, but I was just overwhelmed. Because I'm not a friend of Greek cuisine, as I find it little ingenious and varied. All dishes include rice and tsatsiki/Zaziki. There are pigs and lambs in meat, which are all seasoned and fried in the same way (sometimes simplified and exaggerated, but this is about my view, with which I probably don't make friends here. The capacities of the Dionysos were not fully exploited this Friday night. The restaurant also offers its meals to pick up. Location/Ambience and Cleanliness Dionysos is located in the Coburger district of Cortendorf, opposite the huge building of the former brewery Scheidmantel. The dionysos itself also gives the impression of being very large from the outside. That's it. I think it's here in the area one of the restaurants with most seats. However, it is divided into several smaller areas so that it still gives a cozy impression. The individual areas are all beautifully decorated. So there are Greek paintings, statues, arches and plastic grapes on the walls. The whole thing does not look cheesy, but very stylish. A lot of work is done with yellow or gold tones. I like the ambience very well, unfortunately I was too warm all night over myself in the T Shirt. There was nothing to complain about cleanliness. Both the guest room and our table and the toilets were clean. Four and a half stars for the ambience and also four and a half stars for cleanliness. Service To welcome, I can't say anything because I came to our little team a little later. The operators (white shirt, black trousers were friendly all night, although they did not have much warmth. We had to wait almost a quarter of an hour for our drinks, although the place was only filled to two-thirds. I drank a large orange limo (0.4l for 2.60 Euro and a small Cola (0.2l for 1.60 Euro). Asked if everything is to our satisfaction was not. The service personnel were little present overall. But I think four 20 or 21 year-olds in almost every place are taken care of differently, for example a couple in the mid-fifties. Well, all in all three stars for service. On the menus you can find some cold and some hot appetizers. There are also some soups and salads. In the main dishes one has the choice between typical Greek meat and fish dishes and dishes and plates or Plates that combine the whole. Nothing special. The food My friends ordered the garlic bread for 3.50 euros. These were five slices of roasted baguette with Tsatsiki and tasted them. As main food I ordered the village plate (Steak, Souvlaki, Gyros with tsatsiki, rice and salad for 11.50 euros. The main course came about 15 minutes after the appetizer. I can't make a statement for the supplemental salad unless it seemed relatively small. So to the other components: The Gyros was very delicate and juicy. That was clearly my favorite on this plate. Souvlaki and the pork steak hardly differed from each other tastefully. Both had gotten a little too dry. The meat was all a little too weak and too boring. The rice again tasted. I can say little about the Tsatsiki, because I usually don't like to eat Tsatsiki. Yarned the whole thing with a few raw onions. The size of the portion was neat, I am tired, even though I was not completely satisfied afterwards. In addition, another village plate, a grilled chicken breast fillet with herbal butter, Zaziki, rice and salad for 10.90 euros and a gyro with metaxasauce and cheese were baked, with rice and salad, for also 10.90 euros. There would be close three stars for the food, as the others were much more enthusiastic about their dishes than I were, I give three and a half stars for the food. Price performance ratio and conclusion The prices for the drinks are within the framework, which for food is slightly above the standard level in Coburg. The Dionysos tries so I have the impression of presenting itself as something more sophisticated than other locals in the area. At least in the ambience this also succeeds. Otherwise, the restaurant supplies average. Three stars for the price performance ratio. For my part, I decided not to visit any Greek restaurant as soon as I just won't be happy. From me there would hardly be the verdict 2 again. However, I would do wrong to the Dionysus and therefore forgive 3 if it results again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it arises again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely again note: I don't think it's good that at the vault as well as at the exit journals of the Free Apostolic Pentecost (I have been looking for some posts on the Internet And that's the way they're looking at everyone. "We quickly picked up food for home. The acid roast and my wife's ribs were very good. The food is properly welded for transport. The ambience is more rustic but it is finally a former freight terminal building. It has been set up with great attention to detail. We also eat more often on site it is self service who does not bother but gets very good food at fair price."

The arrival after about 2 hours is usually then shortly before noon and the hunger is correspondingly great. And great is always the curiosity of the place we are guided into. We were recently allowed to eat in the Braugasthof Grosch in Rödental. A table was ordered for 12.00. Unfortunately, the parking spaces were all occupied on the premises and we had to walk a few more steps. The place itself made a more depressing impression on me with its ragful wooden ceilings, the partially overloaded furnishings and the somewhat trembling light due to the small windows. But others find it just because of it rustic and cozy. It was full this day, really amazing. Surprisingly, I found that immediately after taking the places for the children of our Austrian department, pens and leaves were brought to paint. The menu was once again something with about 20 dishes and over 10 beers, which took some time until everyone decided to eat. I opted for oxen breast with horseradish sauce, with homemade claws and fresh salads and of course a beer from the in-house brewery with a family tradition of over 600 years. It was the Grosch Zwickl, which I selected from the many beers and which was called: Grosch Zwickl. The full-bodied, hot Zwickl is characterized by its fine-hearted hop taste. In addition, the unfiltered beer is very cosy as it is brewed with the healthy natural beer yeast. A subferrous speciality with 11.5% stem wort and 4.9% alcohol. And how did it taste? I was able to answer this mandatory question positively. It tasted really good. The meat was soft and delicate, the horseradish sauce was just hmm..hmm, the Thüringer Klöße a poem, again and again a poem when we are there in Oberfranken, because in Würzburg there are not. The salad was tasty and the beer was great. I'd like to have one more drink, but it wasn't allowed. The service came after eating with the question whether a dessert or a coffee is desired, and the invoice was also brought by a stylishly dressed operation without great delay. However, prices are up to a third higher than other restaurants in this remote area of Upper Franconia. They are approximately at the level used in larger cities. Nevertheless, I will look forward to a next time."

"Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem Biergarten an einem lauen Sommerabend.Hier wurden wir fündig, nachdem wir in dieser Gaststätte bereits einige Sonntagsbräten verzehrt hatten. Die Bräten mit Coburger Klößen waren ausgezeichnet und schmeckten wie von Oma selbst gekocht.Der Biergarten ist nicht sehr groß - mit seinem Grasboden und dem alten Baumbestand aber sehr gemütlich. Bei schönem Wetter empfiehlt sich eine Reservierung. Es gibt ein sehr leckeres, oberfränkisches Bier, einer heimischen Brauerei (Heute würde man es Craft-Bier nennen). Die Speisekarte im Biergarten reicht vom Käsebrot über verschiedenste Salate bis zum Schnitzel. Alle Speisen sind frisch zubereitet und schmecken sehr lecker.Fazit:Ein fränkischer Landgasthof, der seinem Namen alle Ehre macht.Gute fränkische Küche zum vernünftigen Preis mit sehr nettem Service."

"Actually, I don't want to forgive a star!! ! I always ordered pizza there and there were never problems. To this day..We had ordered pizza on 18:40, also extra for this time because we had to go somewhere else on time afterwards and we couldn't change the time. The Lord on the phone stated that the time is not a problem and that the pizza will be there at 18:40/18:45. In the end we did not have pizza there 10 min after 18:40. Then I called there and asked when the pizza came. It was said that the driver would start and be there in about 20min. That was half an hour after our ordered time!! ! It was argued with the topic corona and time problems. The boss swooped around in the background audibly and performed that is corona and they have enough to do! No way, nothing! Then you should say at the beginning that a certain time is not possible! And that the boss is dealing with customers like this, I have never experienced! But apparently he no longer needs customers; )Pizza was ordered and no longer ordered there in the future!"
