After hours drive and exploring Castagniccia we stayed in charming town Vescovato. It was at noon and the sun seemed. And how could be more beautiful than having a refreshment drink in the shade of this bar?

It was hot, but what was appealing was the beautiful environment under a serious canopy overlooking the main square. Staff absolutely charming, food excellent, and I was even able to have a cuddly with the new kitten (where I was 5 weeks away, I miss our cats). Well worth a visit, and the Limoncello and Menthe by Jean, le Patron, is excellent. Oh, and despite at the end of 3 weeks in Corsica, the Muscat tried petillant and it was delicious (and well cooled).

we have happened in this place thanks to the positive reviews of trip advisors...which I must admit for the umpteenth goes they have not disappointed! I would define this place as a typical trattoria run in the square of the village of vescovato. excellent cuisine, plentiful dishes and honest prices...which considered the average in Italian is not little! very nice and helpful owners. . . only flaw "paste" and ATM card...they don't have it! only cash. Conclusion... To try! Ver carta
