Despite our reservation being confirmed, this restaurant was actually closed.

Lovely new spot that we were fortunate enough to check out with friends while in town.

Fantastic service and the food was out of this world. We had oysters prepared every way possible and the seafood platter for two. Perfectly prepared and more than enough.

The restaurant is closed for good it seems. Don’t know why Opentable taking bookings and threatening £10 fine if you don’t turn up then only to get there and find it’s shut down.

Waiter did not attend to us even after having said it was my best friends birthday. I had to go to the front of house after 30 mins wait to ask if someone could attend to us. The man who was in charge that night with a foreign accent has very poor customer service and was rude! Ver carta

I had made reservations for two dinners at Galley, only to arrive and find the restaurant closed and dark. Both Opentable and the restaurant did not provide any information about the closure, which was very disappointing. I am puzzled as to how they could have confirmed my booking when they knew they would be closed.

Galley was one of the best restaurants in Islington however we arrived Friday evening, having booked on open table to find the restaurant shut. It appears to have closed, the name is removed, but there was no obvious sign to say why or if it had moved from its Upper St location. We really hope it re-opens. Much missed by us.

First time here and decided to go with the fish platter to share. This was a beautiful selection of mussels, clams, prawns, sea bass, soft shell crab and shrimp. The portion for us was about right in size and ours was all cooked perfectly. Nothing over cooked, the skin on the fish crisp but the fish still moist and the texture of the rest was just right. Drank a nice bottle of Gavi with it. Lovely evening and I’m sure I’ll be back. Ver carta
