"Galley was one of the best restaurants in Islington however we arrived Friday evening, having booked on open table to find the restaurant shut. It appears to have closed, the name is removed, but there was no obvious sign to say why or if it had moved from its Upper St location. We really hope it re-opens. Much missed by us."

The restaurant is closed for good it seems. Don’t know why Opentable taking bookings and threatening £10 fine if you don’t turn up then only to get there and find it’s shut down.

I had made reservations for two dinners at Galley, only to arrive and find the restaurant closed and dark. Both Opentable and the restaurant did not provide any information about the closure, which was very disappointing. I am puzzled as to how they could have confirmed my booking when they knew they would be closed.
