"I have eaten here several times over the years as well as having takeaways. The food is always of a high standard, good portions that are full of flavour. I would particularly recommend dining in, as the restaurant environment is very pleasant. The service is excellent. While this isn’t the cheapest curry in Exeter, in my opinion it is probably the best. The fish dishes are particularly good. We’ll be back."

Very good restaurant, great service. Managed to accommodate a table of 20 of us at last minute. Great food, will return.

It was a Saturday night and very busy. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food to be delivered, by then it was very late. Would recommend for quality of the food.

A lunchtime with the family was delightful, service and food were great. The flavors of each of our dishes were simply excellent. Best Indian food I've had for a long time.

We always have a delicious, well presented meal. The location is immaculately clean with relaxing functions. No matter how busy they are, you know they think of your joy. Worth a visit.

went this restaurant 3 times hoping each time will be better however FOOD WAS TOTALLY RUBBISH, particularly fish curry, absolutely no taste ! I am very disappointed will never visit it again!. HORRIBLE.

Fantastic restaurant, highly recommended. A good selection of vegetarian dishes. I had to start Ragara Pattice and Palak Cootu Curry with one side of Brinjal Bhajee for my main. Food was very tasty and portions were a good size, I will probably skip the starter the next time. I look forward to the return and attempt of other dishes from the menu.

Ganges is the best restaurant in Exeter... Good ambience, Amazing staff and Great Food makes it even more better place ... You must try Chicken Madras,Chicken Jalfrezi over here. They also change the dishes according to our convenience and allergies. Perhaps the best vintage Indian restaurant in the whole Exeter which is straight from the heart of Indian customer:

Sorry Ganges but my takeaway was so disappointing! Chicken Jalfrezi tough dry chicken, sauce tasted like sour tomatoes with no garlic and chilli Lamb Biryani lamb, tough and chewy, with raw chopped carrots. Peshawari Naan Bread nice. Mushroom Pilau rice nice but main courses were let down my dry, chewy meat. Had nice meals over the years from there but tonight NO !
