The Garden Restaurant, Eastbourne. As always, a very nice meal. Service exceptional, very helpful and attentive. Will be returning again on our next visit to Eastbourne.

Very good dinning experience at this beautiful and class restaurant, a gem in Eastbourne. Great food and great wine, exceptional service level and an ambiance for couples! Loved it!

The Grand Hotel is a harkback to another era. The place is beautiful and the service and food were lovely. Retiring to the fireplace for coffee followed by dancing in the lounge, even better!

and old-fashioned, but charming in its way. Unfortunately the head wiater at first denied having our booking, and then kept us waiting for ages in the bar. The wine list is amazing, though they seemed to have little idea which of their bin ends had ended...

This is not the first time I have dined at The Garden Restaurant. This time it was for my birthday and three of us were eating. Menu was to the usual high standard and the service and food were typically of the quality we've come to expect of The Grand Hotel, Eastbourne.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is no longer offering a buffet. I was surprised to see only two other people inside, and later realized why. Despite being told it was still a buffet, I was given a menu instead. When I questioned this, the staff became rude and insisted it was still a buffet. I decided to leave immediately. I would suggest trying Buffet Time near the station instead of this place.

I have eaten in The Garden Mirabelle restaurants before and The Grand Hotel never fails to deliver quality food at a good price, even if I did not have an Elite card, which entitles you to buy one meal get one free, I would eat there.The food is always fresh there's a good selection on the menu to satisfy anyone's taste. Looking forward to dining there for my Mum's 70th Birthday, when there will be 9 of us.

The Garden Restaurant at The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne is such a lovely venue for lunch or dinner. Last night we enjoyed a three course meal for £38 each, including appetisers and sorbets. The service is always perfect, and the food was delicious. There could have been a little more choice, especially for the main courses there were four options) but whatever you choose you are guaranteed a beautiful meal. With wine the bill came to £95 for two, which is good value for food of this quality.

The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne is one of the finest dining venues in the South East, end of story. I've tried so many restaurants but keep coming back here. The Garden Restaurant is so elegant, and the service is exceptional. Plus, there is a separate vegetarian menu with about five choices of starter and main course. The only restaurants I can think of that better this are vegetarian restaurants. And of course my carniverous companion was delighted with his chicken starter and guinea fowl main. If I could, I would eat here once a week, it's just superb.
