"We enjoyed our lunch at The Garrison we have both been before. We nibbled on some focaccia to start. I had the monkfish and my friend the prawns we shared a portion of chips. We should have got 2 portions! Very good though not enough to share. Service was friendly and relaxed and we enjoyed our bottle of vinho verde. Next time we would get a couple of additional sides portions are on the small side. A good spot for lunch. The damage £110 for 2."

A fantastic experts my chef friends. Great hospitality. Warm surroundings and delicious wholesome food. The team at the Garrison did their best to make us feel special and welcome. Cannot recommend them enough!

Roast was very good (albeit not as good as my excellent local). Atmosphere was nice, but a bit loud — not music, just all hard surfaces making it noisy. Bright and open feeling. Nice. Service was exceptional, as was the dessert.
