"After I read the cripples, my husband and I were very happy to eat here. my man had the Argentine steak from which he said it was delicious and I had carving that was in order, though quite fat. the service was terrible. my man ordered a beer when we arrived, which lasted forever. they actually came back to pick up our food order, and he had to remind them of the beer. I had carved and bratkartoffeln ordered. what I got was carving and pommes fries. I told the waiter about the mistake, but he said he didn't understand him. in fact, he was completely disinterested. he sat down beside me, looked at me, laughed, and then stood up and went away. I don't know his name, but he had dark hair and a bart. we didn't see another waiter throughout our dinner. there was no salt and pfeffer on the table and there was no waiter near the area of the restaurant where we ate, we could not ask for salt and pfeffer. When we paid the bill, did we tell them that I was dissatisfied with my eating? because I had not received what I had ordered. they were not really interested again, the waitress actually tried to argue with us. they certainly didn't care that we went as very dissatisfied customers. I have never experienced such a complete lack of customer service before. I can understand that mistakes happen, but I can't imagine that a waiter can deliver a wrong meal and then laugh at the customer. we have been in Germany for more than 5 weeks and have received great meals and a great service. this restaurant has a lot of potential with a great menu. actually the menu was so good that we had decided to read that the next night we would eat here if the food was good - of course we found another restaurant for the next night. Hopefully, the owners will appeal to the service culture of the restaurants so that other customers will have a better experience than we."

"The restaurant has a pleasant location in downtown Gengenbach. The public parking is not far away. Since we were there during the Martinamarkt, I can only write something about the interior. This was also pleasant and not over decorated. Now to the dishes, we had a simple salad as an appetizer, as the main dish Rumpsteak with pommes and croquettes. And to the conclusion of Crème Brûlée. All in all, the food was top and I have nothing to criticize. The service staff was very nice and attentive. The only criticism I have is the price, although price performance is in turn top. So a clear recommendation."

"Reserved with two adults people and a toddler (two years).After not having listed any food for children on the menu, we were politely asked if we could have a portion of fries for our child because we did not discover anything.We were looked totally disrespected and there was a ridiculous NO and he ran on.After a regular guest offered to him sarcastically he had to come in future"

"we have eaten here a few times on our first trip to gengenbach and also on the last trip. once we ate in the beer garden. no one was there and we waited and waited and finally a man came out. I couldn't say if he was rude or just tried to be funny. it was a difficult experience to accept our order. next time we ate in. there are two inside parts - the bar and the restaurant. the bar is clearly the main venue. when we sat down, two women played video games. no one came back. we went, but we saw nowhere else in the city where we wanted to eat this evening, so we went back. the two women were still there, they showed us that we had to ring what we did, and the waitress came. that was in order. the first time I had blown and the woman had a salami cheese sandwich. the second time I had half a chicken and pommes. they kicked the chicken and it had an excellent crispy skin. I also had pommes - too many to eat. the woman had bratwurst and potato salad. the food was good and the price was excellent. I don't know if smoking is allowed in the restaurant, but it was clear in the bar and the smoke traveled to the restaurant, so if they don't like the smoke smell, the inside restaurant is not the right place for them."

"to birthday we went with friends to the garden of mercy court. Unfortunately, the service this evening was not quite at the height. for the warm white wine there was no more crasheis on demand. the question of the sulz - known throughout Germany as Sülze/Sulz see also wikipedia - was not answered. there was then a teller with a cuddle that was unfit for me. after many good visits before this evening was a great disappointment."
