Das Essen ist sehr gut. Wir empfehlen panierte Schnitzel mit Rahmsosse und als Beilage Spätzle. Wir besuchen die Gaststätte immer wieder gern.

Ich habe hier eines meiner besten Rumpsteaks gehabt. Außen knusprig, innen schön rosa. Bestens gewürzt, bestes zartes Fleisch, einfach lecker.zu einem unschlagbaren Preis.

Bin immer dort, sehr lecker , sehr hübsche und freundliche Bedienung. Es hat sich sehr vieles Verändert und ich fühle mich dort jedes mal wie Zuhause die Wartezeit ist ca. 20 Minuten. Das Essen schmeckt super vor allem das Fleisch Einfach nur zum empfehlen!

Da ich fast gegenüber wohne, bin ich hin und wieder mal dort. Bis jetzt war jedes Mal wirklich toll! Gerade im Sommer ist es wunderschön, draußen im Biergarten zu sitzen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, das Essen kam bis jetzt immer recht schnell und war auch immer super! Ich kann es sehr weiter empfehlen.

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort und wurden, mal wieder, nicht enttäuscht. Der Service ist perfekt, sehr nett und sehr aufmerksam. Die Karte bietet alles aus Mutter's Küche, regionale Spezialitäten und Fleisch aus der dazugehörigen Metzgerei. Badisch, deftig, und die Portionen waren schön "männlich". The staff here were friendly although they did not speak great English and the menus were not available in English either which is definitely something that is expected nowadays in most Touristic areas of Europe The meat is sourced locally as they have their own butchers The dumplings were nice with the mushrooms although the menu for vegetarians was very limited and very difficult for a dairy free option All in all the food is good here though

We opted for this restaurant based on the Trip Advisor reviews and I'm really surprised it's not number 1 in Bretten. Just outside the Old Town we entered the restaurant and walked through to a lovely courtyard. The menu was all in German but with the help of Google translate I selected the pork medallions which were described as being accompanied by herb butter. The menu description didn't really do it justice. The pork was perfectly cooked and came with a delicious sauce containing wild mushrooms. One of the waitresses spoke English and recommended a local beer from a family run brewery - definitely one to try! Great value restaurant.

Es un hostal que tiene restaurante y una carniceria propia.Estoy hospedado en el propio hostal, y tras ver todos los días lleno el restaurante he decidido probarlo hoy. Pese a ser lunes a la hora de cenar, el restaurante estaba lleno.Me he dejado aconsejar por la camarera, que me trajera algo de carne que me recomendara. Me ha traido un lomo de ternera, un bol de patatas fritas.Estaba expectacular, muy tierno y sabroso.Ambas cosas, junto con una botella de agua sin gas grande y un postre casero tipa after eight han sido 22€.Por lo tanto no es un sitio para poder venir todos los días, pero la relación calidad/precio me ha parecido perfecta.Yo repetiré seguro.
