"Andi, the operator of the Frankenstuben, is known to many people in Coburg as a good soul of Georgenberg. After this was temporarily closed for a renovation and a change in property, Andi made the leap into self-employment. With the Andi ́s Frankenstube in Bad Rodach. After several attacks have failed, it finally worked. From Coburg the place is easy to find: Simply plugged into Bad Rodach and keep the eyes always left. A large parking space outside the door makes it easy to visit the restaurant, also the barrier-free location and the toilets that are also accessible without obstacles make the restaurant one of the few restaurants that can also be visited by wheelchair. The place itself makes little from the outside, looks more like a resting place. Inside, but it is cozy, modern, but not raised chair. Many large windows ensure that the one who wants can also observe traffic protected from the door by very good sound insulation. We came to the last corner. Around the corner. At noon the restaurant was surprisingly well visited, which is probably also at the very civilian prices with pleasant portions. As far as I can see, there is even a day meal. My companion and I decided: Wiener (art) Schnitzel with homemade potato salad at 7.50 € Currywurst Classy at 6.50 € apple strudeleis at 3.90 € Paulaner white alcohol-free 0.5 liter at 2.80 € (5.60 €/liter) Cola MIx 0.4 liter at 2.60 € (6.50 €/liter) At the same time the main dishes came to the table. The carving crispy, the meat soft, the salad as promised obviously homemade. The accompaniment has not praised the carving over the green clover, but it was one of the better as it could be solved. Currywurst. More and more like to eat, in thousands of variations. Sometimes with good sausage, sometimes with good sauce, rarely both together on the table. This sausage was very crispy as I like it. The Pommes didn't stand back and a good Spicing. No penetrant sweetening of the salt, no excessive sharpness in the spices. Very good. And: No sugar. An acidic sauce, not a sticky mass, as unfortunately more and more restaurants think how to taste a curry sausage. For the price I called, I eat again. The companion chose the apple strudel as a dessert, accompanied by a ball of vanilla ice cream and some cream. Your highlight of the day. The conclusion remains: walking, eating, not expecting too much and getting rich."

"Wir waren auf der Durchreise und machten kurz Halt in Bad Rodach. Das San Marco ist meines Erachtens nicht so schlecht wie zum Teil beschrieben! Die Lasagne kam heiß auf den Tisch, schmeckte genauso wir die Rigatoni mit Lachs und Spinat sehr gut. Der gemischte Salat mit Thunfisch war reichlich mit Käse, Tomate und Gurke bestückt. Das Dressing war geschmacklich sehr gut, aber ein bisschen viel. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und nett und obwohl es relativ voll war, bekamen wir recht schnell unser Essen. Wir saßen an einem warmen Sommerabend natürlich draußen auf der Terrasse, deshalb kann ich zum Inneren des Lokals keine Angaben machen. Sollten wir mal wieder in der Nähe sein, würden wir sofort wieder ins San Marco gehen."

Eisberg salad in the cool cafe had fallen together and brownish. the dönerfleisch would be taken from a warming box. it was quite dry. the brot was tough, crumbled, and in the night."
