Gasthof Naturfreundehaus

I have eaten here many times and always enjoy the food. It is not far from the Holiday Inn. Last September I ate there several nights while I was between tour groups. The food is good and the price is reasonable.

In the summer this is a beer garden, eating outside only. I have eaten here many time over many years, The owners have changed in that time and the place has been remodeled, but the great food continues to be served.

Draussen viel Betrieb , drinnen waren wir zu Gast bei einer Geburtstagsfeier mit ca. 50 Personen . Der Service war sehr aufmerksam , zügig , mit viel Übersicht , trotz der hohen Arbeitsbelastung . Erlebt man nicht oft . Kompliment !

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise as it is situated between two campgrounds. It was decorated very nicely and was very busy. Waiter was helpful and very pleasant. I had the wiener schnitzel and my partner had the turkey. We both thought the meals were good. The apple strudel was excellent for desert.

Tijdens verblijf in een hotel vlakbij gegeten bij dit Gasthof. Op de kaart vooral Duitse gerechten waaronder grote keus aan Schnitzel. Grote porties maar helaas was het eten erg zout, zowel de saus bij de schnitzel als de friet. Standaard wordt salade geserveerd bij de maaltijd, top! Personeel is erg vriendelijk.

Had an evening meal here whilst staying at the Holiday Inn Express across the road. The food was hot and plentiful served with good german draught beer. The main disadvantage was that it was a warm evening and the restaurant does not have air conditioning so the temperature was a little unconfortable.. Saying that if I stayed at the Holiday Inn again I would have no hesitation in eating here, though I might possibly sit outside.

Abbiamo cenato x 2 sere in 2, cucina di buon livello, di qualità ad un buon prezzo.. Locale carino e personale disponibile, unico neo, è stato la seconda volta, che dopo aver ordinato 2 filetti, ci han detto non esser disponibili, e ci han proposto 2 bistecche spesse e ben pulite, arrivate e anche buone, peccato che poi nel conto ci siamo trovati a pagare i 2 filetti, 22 euro è un prezzo giusto per 1 filetto, ma non per una bistecca!

Ein spontaner Besuch der leider nur negative Kritik nach sich zieht!Das Essen war nicht wirklich gut.Der Salat war aus der Türe mit etwas Dressing, was seinem Namen und Menge eigentlich nicht nennenswert ist.Die Bratkartoffeln und die Kroketten waren ebenso fertig Produkte die nur aufgewärmt wurden.Das Putengeschnetzelte war mit einem Fertig Produkt angerührt was man nicht identifizieren konnte.Also Essen komplett durchgefallen.Das Ambiente im Biergarten ist wirklich in Ordnung.Doch aufgrund der Wetterlage haben wir es vorgezogen in die Gaststube zu gehen.Fataler Fehler!Als wir dachten dort ist es angenehm zu sitzen, und etwas Ruhe das man sich unterhalten kann, kam dann die Familie/Freunde...

Spent a week in Europe on business travel that included Düsseldorf, Cologne, and Frankfurt as well as Toulouse France and Zurich Switzerland. Got to the hotel after a long week of travel before the flight home the next day and just wanted some place to relax, unwind, and have some comfort food. Checked TripAdvisor and realized this was walking distance from the hotel so it became my first choice. Honestly I would travel back to this area just to sit outside, enjoy a couple beers and eat here again. Think total comfort food served at a nice casual pace with no need to rush off. Loved it ! Schnitzel . . .amazing ! Side of fried potatoes . . . Awesome !! Add a couple nice beers and then top it...
