"They have quite a few vegan ice cream flavors, some of them are not on display and they are sadly not labelled, so you need to ask someone working there. Previous reviews mentioned they have vegan cream topping, this was not offered to us maybe only in high season? The taste was great though, and they also had a vegan cake! Edit: they did offer us a fully vegan ice cream cup on the second stay very delicious! Updated from previous review on 2023 10 13"

"Beautiful small restaurant in Berchtesgaden. There was one server who spoke English, and he was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was inexpensive and delicious; I had chicken curry, and my husband and son had noodles with bolognese sauce. The noodles were homemade, the food was nicely plated, and the portions were generous. There was a nice patio to eat on, and before we left, our English-speaking server offered us a complimentary serving of schnapps. Best place we've eaten in Berchtesgaden!"

"Wir waren 4 Tage in Schönau. Unsere Wirtin empfahl uns den Gasthof Bodner, da dieser gleich um die Ecke war. Freitag: Haben Sie reserviert? Nein. Wir konnten trotzdem bleiben. Rinderlendesteak war aus. Alternativ Schweinelendchen mit Spätzle in einer Pfanne angerichtet. War gut und ausreichend. Beim Tafelspitz war das Fleisch teils sehnig. Samstag: Haben Sie reserviert? Nein. Diesmal schickte man uns wieder weg. Sonntag: Natürlich nicht reserviert. Es war 20:25 Uhr und die Anzahl der anwesenden Gäste überschaubar. Der Kellner bedauerte, die Küche sei schon geschlossen. Hoppla, warme Küche bis 21 Uhr? Es war nichts zu machen. Er schickte uns weg.Also wenn Ihr Urlauber nicht verhungern wollt, geht woanders hin..."

"The pizzas were very delicious, the salad was fine and the ambience was very pleasant, with a view of the mountains. The only criticism is that you have to plan a lot of time. As far as we have seen, only three waiters were divided, who had visibly rushed, but the crowd had not grown to guests."

"We ere so surprised to find such a lovely Restaurant in Berchtesgaden. It is very spacy and you have views over the valley and towards the mountains, meanwhile you have you meal. The Greek Food was exellent. so we did go back the next day."
