Our family with teens and tweens had a great meal. The mains were very generous and we couldn't fit dessert. Kids had various types of schnitzel. I had beef goulash and it was delicious. Would be nice for lunch if they serve it in the...garden. Very close to the river.

the real passion that the owner has for his business is in everything he and his associates do, from the unique wise the breakfast is served the quality of desserts. for each interaction the service was first class. I wish I had lived in Salzburg and could eat every week here.

I stayed here for a couple of nights and was pleasantly surprised. Set in the banks of the river, the city of Salzburg is easily accessible by a bus at the top of the road or via a footpath along the river, which is a...lovely way to see the city. The rooms are basic, but have been recently updated with stylish decor so the place feels fresh. The hearty breakfast is also a good start to the day. All staff are very friendly and willing to help wherever they can. All in all a lovely place that I would be glad to return to.

this restaurant was near our air bnb, so we thought we would try. the menu was varied with local specialties as well as other items such as ribeye and ravioli. we have eaten the bone mark and foie gras as well as our...entrees (ribeye, braised bark wange, porcini tagliatelle, ravioli.) we ate in the inside and were pleasantly surprised to see that they cover for guests, as it later got / cooler. the wine list was mainly local weine and the server was well visited and gave a great recommendation on the basis of our taste. apropos server. he was excellent, like all who helped our table. this meal was a highlight of the trip.

came on Easter Monday evening, remained overnight in the same spatialities and due to the time of the day and free day for most other similar objects. beautiful suprise meal was tasty, and portion is great enough to feed people like me and our family had cream goulash, asparagus mousse, carving and ravioli with cheese. A good breakfast is served in the morning. also good value for overnight, free parking with enough space, good location on the edge of the saltach. spacious rooms, very clean, creatiw furnished bathroom rooms. teh last but not least is the personal. they simply give more value, very fast for all requirements and gave us food advice where you can park in the city.

This was a gem of a place! We happened on this friendly neighborhood restaurant close to the apartment we were staying for a week! I can't say enough great things about it! The staff was the best and without doubt it was he best customer...friendly service our entire trip to Europe! If you go ask for Gabby she was a delight! The food was fantastic; good portions and absolutely delicious! The beer was cold and plentiful. We ended up there three of the five nights for dinner after long days. As we were staying at the Gasthof, we had dinner in the restaurant twice. Both occasions were really enjoyable, with the menu offering a wide range of traditional dishes (goulash, schnitzel, wurst) lighter dishes like salads soups. Unfortunately there are no English menus...but our waitress was really patient in translating explaining everything for us. The beer on tap was crisp moreish while they are happy to supply tap water for the table. We had the goulash turkey schnitzel one night, both of which were generous portions freshly made. The rooms were large and nice. Even the small rooms were ample. Shared bathroom, but there was a sink in the room. An armoire was also available. Heaters were available but stuck on a setting and couldn’t get the room any warmer. There wasn’t anyone...available at night and there was no hot water or tea/coffee available. If I wanted to put something in the fridge I would have to wait until someone showed up at the restaurant. Easy to get to bus. The old town Salzburg was just across the bridge.
