"This restaurant is a few minutes walk from the centre of town. We had a wonderful evening with amazing food. This is a run entirely by a very friendly and attentive husband a wife team, Adriano and Rosy. The pasta was all home made and cooked perfectly al dente. The sauces were delicious. The panna cotta was perfect. There is an outdoor area but we sat inside. This was a night that will stay in our memory. We spent 54 Euros and had three courses, glasses of wine, coffee and a limoncello.We loved the wine, we loved the food and we loved the hosts."

"My wife and I visited the Garmsich area this past summer. We were told that a trip to see Oberammergau was an absolute must. So, we took everyone's advice and made a side trip to this historic town. It was a hot July afternoon so...after walking around and taking a tour, we were told to come here as this place had the best ice cream in town. Now, I did not try all the others...yet...but I must say that my wife and I enjoyed both our ice cream and our cake. Do yourself a favor the next time you are here. Stop by whether it is sun, rain, or snow for that matter because there is no bad time to eat ice cream!"

"a view of the sky in the oberammergau, which is more noticeable by the mass production of tourism than by culinary highlights. in the well-designed yet cozy local, regional cuisine is clearly interpreted. be it the suppen as an appetizer or meat as a main dish everything carefully prepared and tastes wonderfully according to the particular ingredients. in my case this was a wonderfully mürbes, in red wine sworn rinderbackerl. even those desserts are in nothing. I can't judge the crying offer, I'm stuck on the beer. the service is extremely attentive and beautiful that the language is also regional, understands itself and completes the extremely positive impression. at our next visit to oberammergau we will come back here definitiw."

"Vist Oberammergau several times a year for work and always make I sure I come here, and as unimaginative as it seems, I always have the schnitzel - I just can't resist it. Perfect thin escalopes of pork in a breadcrumb which includes bacon bits, served on delicious buttery saute potatoes with onions - comes with a well dressed side salad too.You get 2 food size schnitzels per portion, which seems generous (though I've always managed to finish them off). Other dishes on the menu look good too (one of our party had the lamb and was very pleased) and the desserts are also very good. All in all it's a must-eat stop in Oberammergau for me. Wolfgang and his wife are always friendly, and welcome returning visitors with genuine warmth. Other staff can be very German (which of course they are) - not rude or impolite, just direct in a way which you don't normally find elsewhere. For example, a request for fries with the burger (let's face it, a very reasonable one) was met with a 'nein'. No explanation, no beating about the bush, just a straight 'nein' - at least you know where you stand. And the kitchen may close while you are finishing off your main course - don't expect to be told and asked if you would like to order dessert. Overall though, these are not reflections on the restaurant, but on the German tendency for plain speaking and rules. I've given it a 5, which is possibly generous, but it's more than a 4 - it's a great place and I will always return."

"Some decent dishes and decent portions make this a place worth visiting especially if you crave Mexican food while on your Bavarian holiday. The cuisine leans towards American style Mexican food as opposed to more traditional Mexican, but that's not a bad thing. All the sauces and salsas have lots of the right flavours. And be sure to have a local beer to go with your meal - they match perfectly!"
