Aubergine was okay, liked the pasta a lot more. Loved the deserts and drinks. Ambience and service were great!

It's really upsetting when you have such delicious food service, only to be held hostage on the wine. The lowest priced bottle of red is £44, which is a £6 screw top bottle in Tesco. Tut tut

The meat was just right, the seasoning was amazing. We celebrated Valentine's Day with two Churrasco Chorizo. You can go without error, highly recommended. Congratulations to the entire team. A hug from the Brazilian here.

For a Tuesday lunchtime, I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's atmosphere. The service was good. We ordered from the legacy menu, which offers good value but doesn't include sides. The steak, requested medium-rare, appeared correctly cooked but was disappointingly tough. The standout dish wasn't the steak but the empanada. Unfortunately, the upright seats were extremely uncomfortable due to worn-out padding. This visit to Gaucho after many years reminded me why I hadn't returned for steak in so long.

The restaurant offers good quality food with generous portions, though it's slightly overpriced for what you get. While some dishes are advertised as Argentinian specialties, they're actually the chef's reinterpretations it would be more transparent to mention this on the menu. The service is a strong point, with staff being professional, quick, and attentive. However, the lighting is a significant issue. It's so dim that we, along with other diners, had to use our phone flashlights to read the menu properly. This detracted from the overall dining experience.
