Great Pub! This pub was recommended by our AirBnb owner. Absolutely perfect, great food…amazing Pies, great beer and fantastic service. Would highly recommend, make sure you book though

We placed a food order for Sunday to-go. With 8 couples and 2 dogs, the food was exceptional and we highly recommend the Sunday lunch. The staff was really friendly. We will definitely return.

Absolutely spot on venue for overnight catch up with friends. The staff, service, food and room were top quality. They especially catered well for my gluten free needs for evening meal and breakfast. Brilliant and would highly recommend. The bed was sooo comfy too.

Well again what a fabulous place going with friends. The food is amazing with lots of choices and all freshly prepared. The pub is very busy full of friendly people and fabulous staff. The land lord and lady are so welcoming and make you feel at home see you next year

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, and the high-end pub food is delicious and honest. The staff are friendly and the service was excellent. We ordered nachos with pulled pork and bangers and mash in a giant Yorkshire pudding, and both dishes were highly recommended. We were thrilled to find this gem and will definitely be returning. We stayed with friends in 2022 booked when leaving for 2023. Our 2 night stay was great again, we were well looked after by Jess all of the staff, especially the lady that looked after us for our lovely breakfasts. The owners are often around always make sure everything is as it should be. As usual a good selection of beers really good food. Thanks to all, we will be back again.

This is a lovely traditional pub and their accommodation is nice BUT the access to the rooms is abysmal! If you have mobility problems or the weather is bad forget it!! I arrived at the hotel in atrocious weather, the only way to the room was either through a crowded pub or up a dangerous steel staircase, with no shelter whatsoever!!!! Such a shame and but unfortunately never again!!!

After a long hike on the weekend, my friend and I were craving some delicious pizza and a good cup of tea. Despite seeing a sign inside the pub restaurant indicating booking only, we decided to ask a very welcoming staff member if we could find a table for two. The entire team was friendly, accommodating, and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed pizzas and fries and were seated near the fire which was perfect as we were soaked from the day out. The pub had a warm and inviting atmosphere and we truly appreciated the exceptional service from the staff.
