"Absolutely the best breakfast in Swansea. Everything is freshly cooked and you can view the chef at work. The food is awesome and the staff and owner are polite and cheerful. They can't do enough to make your visit there, warm and welcoming! I have consecutively had excellent service and food there on many occasions. The food and drink is reasonably priced and the portions are good. The place is always kept clean and their bathrooms are always clean, tidy, fresh and well stocked. This little restaurant cafe is a little gem in Swansea. They also serve real fresh cream with your coffee if you prefer. My son had the strawberry milkshake there, which looked amazing to the eye with whipped cream and a drizzle of strawberry sauce to complete the look. They have an upstairs dining area if the downstairs is full. It's a quaint looking cafe with beautiful stone work and wooden beams. Can't say enough about it, other than, you really should try their cuisine and hospitality."

Went just after lunch today. Cafe serves an all day breakfast although there was a range of other meals to choose from to suit all tastes. Food was delicious and place was spotlessly clean. Didn’t feel too cramped as there were two floors for seating....Highly recommend and look forward to returning soon

For about 20 years on a Tuesday I go to Gershwins. A very friendly atmosphere, and you are not rushed out the door. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. Over the years I have tried neatly everything. My favourite is a Welsh breakfast. There is a vast range for all teases. The price is competitive. Go and find out for yourself

I loved everything about this cafe. It's licensed! The house wine is really good! The food was delicious everything hot, fresh and perfectly cooked, sweet juicy scampi with a lovely light crispy coating, golden chips, and a genuinely tasty tomato on my salad. Good...quality ingredients, nicely presented, and the service was excellent. The staff are so lovely. Very happy, and very impressed!

"I have been wanting to visit here for ages but the stars have never aligned until Saturday. We were extremely lucky to get a walk in for the two of us. We were greeted by the owner and shown to a table. As we didn't have any drinks with us Peter suggested Tesco a few doors down and I was able to grab a bottle to enjoy with the meal. The service was wonderful and friendly and it felt like we had been going there for years, with just the right amount of care and advice. The food was exceptional from start to finish. We had the chicken satay and spring rolls to start and they were beautiful. The satay was amazing and was much darker in colour than any I have had before, but much better in flavour than any I have had before, I would definitely have these again. For main I had a chicken rendang and my wife ordered gule monkfish. The rendang was again perfect for my tastes. Spicy but flavourful with a generous portion that would satisfy the majority of eaters. I would have had seconds, even though I was stuffed because it was so good. I can't comment too much on the monkfish as I have a dislike of seafood, but my wife raved about it and said she's having the same again next time without question. So I think that sums it up. We finished with deserts of a rice pudding dish I think was called bubar, which was black rice and coconut, and the second dish we ordered was a Banana coconut pancake to which I forget the name. Again I couldn't find fault if I tried another 10 out of 10. At the end of the meal we met owner and chef Ami, who came to chat. It was lovely speaking to the owners and their passion for the food and customer service was clear. We cannot wait until our next visit"
