"I never normally write a review, let alone give a bad one, but due to my very bad experience, I felt it was necessary to write a review. I visited giggling squid a couple of years back and enjoyed my meal, so for my birthday my partner took me to the giggling squid on Friday 28th of April 2023. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao meal, unfortunately my second visit this time left me suffering from extremely bad food poisoning in the early hours of the following morning. I contacted the restaurant later that day, and spoke with the manager, who was apologetic, took my contact details and informed me that head office would be in touch that week. I've had no contact since. After posting a review on google. The manage at Farnham restaurant, replied confirming that such cases (Food Poisoning) are taken seriously and that their head-office will be contacting me that month in April. Two weeks into May 2023 and still no contact from the so called Head office. I am appalled that the restaurant feels the best way to deal with Food Poisoning is to ignore it."

We were a group of 7 and staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had a fabulous time and the food and the whole experience was great.

Wonderful experience overall. A must visit venue in Farnham. Food was so tasty, and a huge proportion of the menu is gluten fee ….Bravo!,

Really good food and plenty of choice for vegetarian as well as meat and fish choices. A lovely atmosphere, very relaxed and the service is friendly and professional.

Haven't been here for ages but the one in Farnham has the feel of an independant despite it being a small chain. The Lunchtime menu is outstanding value and amazing food. Service from the owner/manageress as always first class.

Turned up without a reservation but happy to find me a quiet corner. Ordered a Chang beer and it arrived in an instant. Flicked through the menu and decided to go straight to the mains and chose a Pad Kee Mao which was delicious, spicy and plenty of it. It arrived in good time and looked so wonderfully fresh!

This charming restaurant has a friendly staff and a wonderful interior space. Despite its light and airy atmosphere, it still manages to feel cozy and clean. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, especially during lunch when they offer set tapas plates. The servers are very friendly, always smiling and cheerful.

My 2nd visit to Giggling Squid (first time I went to the Winchester one with friends). Took my husband for date night and very much enjoyed the festive Merry Bakewell cocktail was very tasty. Food was great, service was great too, everything was lovely. My only feedback is that some gluten free people are also dairy free and I always find a lack of effort when it comes to desserts. Be better, and make tasty gluten and dairy free desserts it’s completely possible thank you

We have dined at this restaurant many times and decided to visit again to celebrate our GCSE results. The food was delicious as always, but we found the starters to be overpriced. The service was inconsistent, with some main dishes arriving well before others and the side dishes. We only ordered water to drink, but were told we could not have a jug on the table, despite seeing jugs available, forcing us to constantly flag down servers to refill our glasses. This was an unnecessary inconvenience that left us without a drink at times and caused issues for the busy staff.
