I had some of the best fish and chips I've ever tasted here, and they even offer gluten-free options. The service was quick and friendly, the dining facilities were excellent, and the restaurant was very clean. Plus, it has a great location!

Outstanding food and service! The chips are boiled to perfection, and the fish is wonderfully light and crispy, with no greasy taste. fresh, tasty, good part, they always come here when I'm in the opposite. scampi is also good, as well as all fish. good value for money. and when you are there, they give you a whole pot of tartaric acid. could make a whole glass, it is homemade and delicious! if they take away, they give them a small tub and they need to pay for more.

only experienced with aussie fish and chips, my British partner would not stop going over British fish and chips and a place called godfrey. when we went, there was a lot of pressure on godfreys to show me what they could be, and also years of built expectations of my partner. we were both not disappointed, the teig was crispy, but light, with only the right amount, chips were delicious and perfectly cooked, the reduced heaps were an excellent compliment and their homemade tartaric acid sauce just rounded off it all off. the only thing it would have done better is chicken salt, a hersache at all fish and chip shops.
