"Das in vielen Thermen Restaurants, die Qualität und die Quantität der Gerichte zu wünschen übrig ließen, musste ich bereits leider oftmals feststellen. Umso überraschter war ich, dass das Restaurant Salza sich von diversen Thermen Restaurants abhob:Flexibel würde auf unsere geänderte Bestellung eingegangen und diese ohne große Diskussion so angenommen. Der Service überzeugte über den ganzen Besuch hinweg und verstand es uns eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre zu verleihen. Diese würde durch das Ambiente und durch das Restaurant selbst geweckt. Die Gerichte selbst waren von der Qualität wirklich solide bis gut. Definitiv war es keine gewöhnliche Thermen Restaurant Qualität, im Gegenteil, wenn dieses Restaurant auch in der Stadtmitte als selbständige Restaurant tätig wäre, würde ich ein Besuch empfehlen. Ein großes Manko waren die sehr sehr happigen Preise, natürlich der Lokalisation geschuldet. Alles in allem: definitiv einen Besuch wert, solide bis gute Küche, gehobene Preise, schönes Klima und Ambiente. Wir waren zufrieden als wir das Restaurant verließen."

"We have been to this restaurant several times already so I was thinking about a review here. The restaurant is located close to the city center and can be reached by foot. Parking directly in front of it might be a problem, however there are...some parking spots as well as in the city center.. During summertime you can sit outside and have a beer in their beer garden behind the building. Their menue is good, they have pizza, pasta, meat and fish dishes as well as starters and freshly made desserts. For a starter I can recommend their Bruschetta, as a dessert Panna Cotta. The menue is also in English for our valued American guests. Prices are human I should say. We persons) had a starter, a sparkling wine to it, main course, drinks and Schnapps and paid EUR. Their service is oustanding, the guy who took our order could remember everything without writing it down (and we ordered everything at once from starter over the main course till our drinks). They asked I they should bring the main course and the drinks. Very nice. The main room (the smaller one) is nicely decorated with old things from a brewery or a distillery. Full of brass and copper things however far away from being tacky. The other room is the bigger one however not decorated like the main room. Still nice though. They also have a bowling alley as far as I know. The only downturn we noticed during earlier visits is when it's crowded. Service is still good and they tell you that it is full and that most likely you have to wait. However the waiting time is so long then that it can not be tolerated. So my advice if you see it is very crowded: go somewhere else. Still in my opinion this is the best Italian restaurant we have in Bad Windsheim and we have plenty. The owner sometimes goes from table to table and greets known guests and ask you for our opinion about the food. Nice detail."

"Wir haben auf der großen Terrasse gespeist. Ist mit großen Sonnenschirmen ausgestattet. Das Essen ist lecker und reichlich und auch nicht zu teuer. Einzig einen Punkt hab ich der mich leider absolut stört... Ich hab bei der Reservierung nachgefragt ob Hunde erlaubt sind und die Antwort war dass sie bei schönem Wetter willkommen sind aber sollte der Hund nass geworden sein, dann dürfte er nicht mit ins Restaurant. Nur welcher Hundehalter lässt dann seine Fellnase alleine draußen???? Also ist man als Hundehalter nur bei trockener Witterung willkommen??? Sorry das geht ja mal gar nicht"

"one of the highlights of bad windsheim is the Franken-Therme (unfortunately not quite cheap) whose sohlen mainly offer rheumatics and herbal patient relief. around the Kurpark and some, to some not quite deaf-fresh curhotels. since 2013, in close proximity to the therme, the genusswerk has opened with a very sympathetic overall concept. here is combined under a dach restaurant, vinothek, caffeine, catering and regional pleasure shop, all lush and modern, with upscale offer and the best selection of local products. an affinity for the therme can not be done so properly, but this does not break the obvious success of the genusswerk. who comes as an unimpededed guest on the areal will initially suspect a regional gattungsmesse when he sends past the open tables with crying drinking. on the sight of the glazed brushpaternoster (my previous speaker has already mentioned it) but simply before amazing mouth open. Here the smoked sausages are shown so stubbornly that they cannot pass by, and if they already have the water in their mouth, they are well cooked as dead! I eat for the conclusion simply with the diverse bread and bread selection that is served us to eat. on the way to the toilet I come through the elegant dining room with massive oak, dark padded and skillfully illuminated vinothek presentations. Here you can imagine eating well for dinner or even organizing a small party, and hardly you will come past the magnificent cemeteries with regional delicacies. ravened sausages are a popular gift, but also the scorching and scorching. great, here there is also the exquisite winey collection of long, which was recently noticed on a measurable. "We came here in Christmas for lunch with people! The service was amazing despite the large group size, multiple personal requests and small children. (Have to thank Ms. Woodward for that I can't recall her first name but she had...a team of servers helping her). The food was excellent. I shared the beef dish but also tried the pork. Both were excellent and perfect portion sizes. The fried potatoes (like a hashbrown but better) perfectly accompanied the meals. Ms. Woodward also recommended the wine based on a few of my comments and it was just what I wanted and perfectly complimented the meal. The place itself seems like an old farmhouse located in a small town. The town and restaurant were charming. Other than our group, everyone else seemed to be local. I would it might have been a little overwhelming when our large loud Irish family showed up and ate and drank for two hours. But the staff and customers couldn't have been more gracious! I highly recommend for some amazing food and local charm."
