"Booked this venue for a family party for 18. The whole process of booking and obtaining information was so easy. Everyone I spoke to was so helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. On the day the Carvery and desserts were excellent and Jamie and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and attentive. They even cut up our celebration cake and wrapped the slices so everyone could take it home! Just the best customer service for miles!"

"The food is really enjoyable. Some of the meat can be a bit dry in parts but generally speaking it's quite good. Is it better than what you'd get at the average chippy? Not for what it costs. Ordering two box meals and a couple of sides got the cost up to £50 with charges. Considering a large mixed meat in naan at my local chip shop is £7, it's incredibly expensive.There's far too much waste which really needs to be addressed. Every food item is at least two layers of packaging deep. With a box meal you have the outer corrugated cardboard box, then all dividers inside, then the kebab sandwich is in a box of its own, then it's in a foil wrapper, then it's in a paper wrapper. It's all needless waste and when we're all trying to be more conscious of our carbon footprint this just isn't required.There are some nice things that just aren't replicated elsewhere, their kebab bread is fantastic and very similar to a traditional Turkish pide. Their sauces are really good too. Full of flavour and balanced well with the meat but I will say there's never enough of it. Three little poxy pots is all you get.The fries are average. Nothing remarkable about them. The spicy fries are a tasty addition but this option does bump up the price but again, perfectly average.Overall I'd recommend that it's worth trying at least once but the prices are way over valued and quantity in some areas lack. If they cut down on all the needless packaging they could even bring the prices down but £15-20 for a box meal (one can of pop, one kebab sandwich, one fries and two spring rolls) it's a bit of a joke."

"First time trying this restaurant and I am pleased we chose it. The food was great the service was excellent the place felt comfy and welcoming. I will return. Parking: Parking is at the back of the restaurant. Don't park on asda. You only get 2 hours and will be fined. Wheelchair accessibility: As an ex wheelchair user, I would say its not 100% wheelchair friendly. I didn't go to the loo, so I can't comment on space or if a disabled loo. But, maybe call the restaurant and ask about wheelchair access. "Took a trip with my husband as he’d never tried Bella Italia before. On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely member of staff who was very helpful from the get go. He asked if we’d been before, about allergies and even laughed at my partners awful joke! We were seated promptly with menus and had our drinks order taken within 3 minutes of being sat down. We completed the order online which made our experience a lot better as I didn’t feel rushed to make a decision on food. There was a quirky little waiter robot with a kitten face going around the restaurant with peoples food on. Put a smile on my face as I’d never seen such a thing before. It was cute and really enjoyed seeing it go past to the gelato station!! Food came quickly even though the restaurant was slightly busy, was delicious and filling. We will definitely be back :"

"My family came to this restaurant three months ago for an intimate birthday celebration with five people. Every dish we ordered was served perfectly and in generous portions that we all enjoyed. The poppadoms with toppings were fresh and crispy, the pilau rice and plain rice were fluffy and flavorful, and the naans were hearty and better than any other I've had elsewhere. We tried multiple curries, including Chicken Tikka Masala and Jalfrezi, all of which were delicious and tender. I highly recommend this restaurant for families and small parties. Despite being busy, the quality of the food did not drop and we had a great experience overall. My family loves the Lamp Restaurant and we have visited before. Thank you to the staff!"
