very relaxed, they come as they are atmosphere. the food was excellent and plentiful. I had the chicken sandwich that was very tasty. burger was good and friends sharing the ribs and loved them. family-friendly and great place for a group.

A group of 9 of us visited GPT for my 40th birthday celebrations in October. The welcome and service received throughout the night was first rate. I'd read plenty about the quality of the ribs and burgers and none of us were dissappointed.

The staff were friendly and when the food eventually arrived it was tasty. However we had to wait 45 minutes for starters and then Nother 30 mins for main and when our mains arrived they were incorrect orders. Plus they charged 28.95 for a bottle of prosecco. Would not go back. Ver carta

we ate on a Sunday afternoon, there were only about 5 other tables occupied. the food was excellent, first class. but there was only a very friendly waitress and the service was really slow. So if you're not in a hurry, we'll eat here definitiw, but if you're somewhere else to go somewhere else.

What struck me first was the great ambiance of this place. it was the sort of place you wanted to spend time. The wings for starter were great and the mushroom burger was so tasty. Service couldn't be faulted even for a busy Saturday night, nice and quick, polite and helpful. It was our first time here and it was nice to find somewhere in Bath where you could park and get a table at a good restaurant on a Saturday night.

this is the 4th time we have visited the green park tavern and have always loved it food has been amazing but on this occasion the chicken, on the Sunday roast had a funny taste we were told it was smoked but still didn't taste right we complained but we're only given 30 of our money back,which I thought was a bit strange.also it's quite pricey for the amount your given no good if your a big eater and drinks are a appalling price I hope they read this and maybe it will improve. Choice of slow cooked belly pork, succulent chicken or tender beef all with proper home made Yorkshire, roast potatoes and fresh veg. Topped with a delicious meat juice gravy it is the best we have found in Bath having tried them all over the past couple of years. As you would expect you have to book as they get very full but using Open table that has never been a problem even when leaving it to the day before. Friendly relaxed atmosphere and great service makes for an unbeatable package.

We were welcomed out of the wind and driving rain,by a lovely bubbly young lady...and seated at a lovely warm table...the atmosphere here was wonderfully relaxing and we didn't want to leave....we both had deliscious burgers one with pulled pork and another with mouthwatering cheritzo .My son tried the peanut better and oreo cheese,which was a real winner ...we were served with drinks from the bar and finished off with a lovely hot chocolate!! Families and parties were all being catered for whilst we were there..and i cannot emphassise how lovely and chilled out we were....Thankyou..my son aged 11 said it was the best meal he had ever had!!! says a lot for my cooking!!!..lol

eating here is really excellent, but this visit needed the service definitiw improvement. despite the request a high chair during booking it took them well 20 minutes to find us, not good if they try a 1 yr old to crawl the door. had to order all drinks at the bar, ask for bill at the bar, pay at the bar, etc., as most people seemed preoccupied with a big party in the other room. when another table patiently sat with her bill for 15 minutes, no one came to pay so that they finally got up and also were paid on cash. all staff were very nice and friendly, just didn't seem much communication or enough of them. I think they'd have left some employees in the stab so I can forgive this as a free d... Ver carta
