"Was passing by Great Western Road on morning and was in need of something to eat, so thought I would pop in to Great Western Cafe to grab some food on the go. Usual selection of things to order, but my only gripe is that the service was incredibly slow, and while far from busy, spent longer than I had to for my order of a breakfast roll. All in all, prices are really good, and the food is tasty, but its really just a small cafe and serves its purpose for what I need."

Two weekends in a row we have received the completely wrong order without a hint of an apology. It’s not even simple mistakes. So badly run and won’t be back.

Had praised this cafe in the past but was deeply disappointed after recent visit. Prices gone up, half warm soup, out of date chocolate bar and crisps in date by 2 days but tasted awful. Not impressed.

Visited this morning around 10am. A few people inside, not too many. Waited 40 mins for 2 rolls and watched several people come in, order after me and receive their food first (the same type of food I didn’t request anything special). Staff were overwhelmed with just a few people in the cafe. Food was overcooked (ironically, since I waited so long). Saw at least 3 people receive incorrect orders. A real shame as this cafe used to be fantastic.
