Lovely food- seems a lot lighter that your traditional Indian/Bengali curry, staff very attentive, and the Gurkha beer was excellent too- will definitely call again when were in these parts. Ver carta

This is a bit of a hidden gem. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is amazing, serving some of the tastiest Asian dishes. Not particularly hot but with plenty of punch. Nice Nepalese beer too. Staff were friendly and the pictures and decor gave it a really nice feel even though it was fairly simple. Reasonably priced. Good vegetarian options. Will be back again. Amazing Nepali cuisine with friendly staff who cater to South Asian tastes. The atmosphere is cozy, although tables could be a bit closer together. Dining in for dinner is recommended, with prices ranging from £20-30 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a top rating of 5. Recommended dishes include the Lamb Gurkar Curry with Mushroom Rice and a Sweet Naan, as well as the Poppadom.

My two friends and I stopped by Gurkha Corner in Brecon before heading to a live music show. Despite its small size, it's advisable to make a reservation. We started off with the traditional popadoms and chutneys. I opted for the Khursani Kukhara (Chilli Chicken) and it was absolutely delicious. It had a nice level of spice without being overpowering. Pairing it with two bottles of Gurkha lager was the perfect combination. The restaurant had a cleanliness rating of 1 and everything was immaculately clean. The staff was also very friendly. Would I go back? Definitely.

During our visit to Brecon, we stopped at this restaurant for lunch. Despite a bit of a wait for our food, 30 minutes for the dim sum starters, it was well worth it as the entire meal was delicious and freshly prepared. My partner ordered the Lamb Nettle Curry and I had the Chicken Korma, both of which were amazing. We left feeling satisfied and full. The waiter was very friendly and talkative, sharing tales about Nepal while I admired a beautiful picture on the wall of snow-capped mountains and yaks. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return when we're in the area. Ver carta
