Kind hearted friendly staff, with a welcome that makes you feel like family. Menu is wide but they are still happy to make changes for people with eating requests.

Tremendous food, tasty and grease free. Popular and more specialised dishes were all amazingly tasty. Sizzling lamb, chicken with chickpeas and crispy naan were all highlights. The staff were charming and efficient.

Wonderful and perfect family birthday celebration for our 12 year old. We gave our son the choice of any restaurant and he picked the Gurkha as it’s his favourite place to go. Sudha and the team welcomed us as if we were family and treated my son like he was royalty! The food was impeccable and the service was second to none. We cannot recommend highly enough book your table today!!!!!

We had a meal here today with a group of 15 for a family birthday. The Nepalese food here is always great, and we were not at all let down today. Restaurant is lovely and clean and despite the large group our meals were all served together at the same time. It has to be said that the service here is really friendly. They did all they could to make sure it was a meal to remember. Thank you.

I should have just purchased an Indian ready meal from the Co-op across the street and enjoyed better food for a fraction of the cost. Everything, including the main course, side dishes, and bread, was mediocre at best. The rice was average at best. The portion size of the main course for the price was also disappointing. I don't understand why some people rave about this place. I would recommend avoiding it.

We received a warm welcome and excellent service throughout our meal at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and patient when helping us order, especially since some of our group were unfamiliar with Nepalese cuisine. The food was all delicious and tasted freshly prepared. It was served on elegant white china plates, and everything was grease-free. This stylish establishment offered great value for the quality of food served.

We had a wonderful experience with Gurkha Durbar, who provided us with a delicious curry lunch for 25 guests at my grandson's 21st birthday party at our home. The food arrived on time, they provided us with catering dishes to keep the food warm, and were extremely helpful throughout. The quality of the food was outstanding and the portion sizes were generous. We will definitely be using their services again and highly recommend them.

I contacted Sudha of the Gurkha Durbar to ask if she could arrange a special meal to be delivered for my Husband's birthday just before Christmas and as always she was just so helpful and accommodating. One of his favourite dishes is an authentic goat curry and although not on the menu at the restaurant she had it specially made for him and designed a menu around it. The food arrived piping hot, every accompanying dish delicious and really generous portions. A bottle of wine also arrived with our delivery which was such a lovely surprise and helped our celebrations go brilliantly! I highly recommend this establishment.

Perfect Food was delicious, brilliant selection for all taste buds from chicken to salmon, monkfish, prawn, lamb, mixed. From mild to very hot. Fast service, nicely presented with friendly, lovely polite staff. Tonight was quiet, which we prefer, being able to talk and hear each other speak. The booking was made for tonight, Sunday for a table for 5. We had starters, mains, sides, dessert, alcoholic drinks, soft drink and 2 Irish coffees to end the evening. We are new to the area, this is the second time we have been to this Nepalese restaurant and the only one we have visited since before the Pandemic.
