"Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant, in dem ich zu zweit meinen runden Geburtstag begehen konnte, stieß ich auf den Taucher. Vor zwei Jahren hätte ich noch andere Top-Restaurants auf der Liste gehabt, aber in der Zwischenzeit hat sich auf Norderney kulinarisch einiges verändert. Es liegt nicht an der Promenade und wirkt zunächst eher etwas unscheinbar. Aber dann… Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, sehr aufmerksame aber diskrete Mitarbeiter und ein unfassbar leckeres Essen! Wow! Ich bin wirklich rundum begeistert! Wir haben in den letzten Jahren viele Restaurants z. T. auch mehrfach besucht, aber der Taucher ist grad ein absolutes Highlight! Weiter so!"

"was for the first time in the “Friedrich ”, just before nine, not yet really opened; a very friendly and nice blonde lady with glasses still asked me to take a seat, which is not often experienced. My little breakfast I could put together quite slenderly, according to my personal need, which is very pleasant if you don't eat much in the morning. Very good Darjeeling tea, crisp rolls, delicious cooking ham of very good quality and agitator eggs from free-running chickens, and this is also tasted. The waiter is also extremely friendly and attentive. A very well maintained gastronomy and thoroughly recommended. Thank you for the nice breakfast."

"Die Reservierung in diesem Restaurant erfolgte einen Tag vorher persönlich. Leider bekommt man einen Tisch auf der Außenterrasse nur, wenn man Glück hat. Wir saßen daher eher im weniger gemütlichen hinteren Bereich. Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam, auch wenn meine etwas eigensinnige Art, den in meinem Rücken befindlichen Lüfter auszuschalten, nicht auf Gegenliebe stieß. Aber es war letztlich in Ordnung. Sehr gut war das Essen: Senfcremesuppe (sehr lecker), Matjesfilet Hausfrauenart und der Fisch im Mantel (Seelachsfilet in Knusperpanade mit Reis und Sauce Bernaise). Schmeckte köstlich, auch wenn ich es nicht ganz geschafft habe. Zum Schluss gab es einen Waldmeisterschnaps aufs Haus, was ich immer sehr aufmerksam finde. Wem es nichts ausmacht, im Sommer bei schönen Temperaturen drinnen zu sitzen, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Im Winter sowieso..."

"Ahoi, What a super kitchen and especially how fast the food was at the table, although the restaurant was fully booked. Respect. We had ordered a steak medium wheel and so it was also served. Top quality and it tasted great. The fish plate was also a poem. Three different fillets and all glassy, with a sauce with crabs and shells and potatoes. "The reservation is simple, already at the welcome is a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy excellent food either with a view to a wide selection of fine wines or the open kitchen where the treats are prepared. Regional honeycombs are also available as a Thai curry from chicken, vegetarian mushroom pan. Exciting desserts like sorbet from black tea with black bread mousse are at least as delicious as the classic mousses of chocolate and Baileys. The care is attentive and the short waiting period flies. The quiet atmosphere is compulsive and transfers to the guests. It also contributes to the fact that well-maintained leisure clothing is completely sufficient here. In the end, you will be happy to pay a more than reasonable bill for an evening, where you have felt comfortable with excellent food and suitable wine recommendations. I will be happy to come back here at any time."
