"Ich persönlich kann die Rezensionen hier nicht nachvollziehen. Ich habe eine Pizza Tonno gegessen, die schlicht und ergreifend nach nichts geschmeckt hat. Ein Hauch von Pappkarton hätte vermutlich mehr Würze gehabt. Die Oliven? Mit Kernen – was nicht nur unpraktisch, sondern auch gefährlich ist. Das einzig Essbare an der ganzen Pizza war der Rand, und selbst der war nur mäßig. Ohne zu wissen, was ich bestellt hatte, hätte ich im Leben nicht erraten, dass es Thunfisch sein soll. Das Beste kam dann nach dem Essen: 20 Minuten, nachdem wir das Lokal verlassen hatten, musste ich mich übergeben. Das ist definitiv das Letzte. Fazit: Eine Dose Thunfisch im eigenen Saft wäre nicht nur billiger, sondern wohl auch schmackhafter und vor allem bekömmlicher gewesen. Nie wieder – absolut nicht empfehlenswert!"

"We made a reservation for four and were greeted very unfriendly by the Chef who loudly complained that one person in our party had fallen ill. That made me want to turn around at the door. When we were seated the waitress made my dinner...companions get up again and take their coats to the hangers. Then she tried to get me to take my umbrella to yet another place. The escargot were in an unusual presentation but tasted nicely. The salmon tartar was outstanding. We ordered schnitzel, rouladen, and a piece of pork in a cream sauce. The rouladen were too thick and dry but the rest was very well prepared and tasty. They substituted my potatoes with Knoedel as I requested and those Knodel were the best. Our 39 Euro bottle of Pfalz Sauvignon Blanc was outstanding. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was not too noisy. Despite the rude greeting, we would come again."

"we wanted to go a bit more nice dinner and decided to go for the baggio because we liked the business. we had salimbocca and laup de mer with truffle sauce and both dishes for approx. 20 euro, a glass of wine. the ingredients were in order, the weed, but the presentation was very unconsistent (meat lobe, in sose floating, carnivores,) both dishes have tasted very salty and not especially nuances. Unfortunately, it is not possible to maintain with the ingenious and the chefs of the predecessor."

"a look into the map shows that this is not a typical petty-bourgeois restaurant. besides the very good classical dressings that form the basic of the card, there is also a small but fine area with Indian eating. also Spanish influence can be seen at some corners and end. The golden shepherd owes this international note to his Indian owner.We had on the one hand two Indian dishes and on the other a jägerschnitzel with a sparingly cream soup as an appetizer. I was already in some Indian restaurants and eating was excellent. also the scavenger and the suppe were super.Normally, I am a friend of small and scarce menus. but here I take one. we will definitely come back to taste more of the map."

"Weisser Bock is a restaurant situated in the heart of Heidelberg between the famous bar street (Untere Straße) and the river. It turned out to be the favourite place for me and my girlfriend! As you enter the place you are welcomed by a magnificent...setting a wonderful mix between antique and the luxuries of modernity. Sitting in any table you have a wonderful view of the restaurant. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth watering starters. I had the Tartar, while my girlfriend tried the carpaccio. They were exquisite. The main course consisted in a tenderloin for me and ravioli with pumpkin for my girlfriend, which really thrilled us. It all was followed by a delicious dessert! All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home made food. The chefs takes great care in selecting the best quality ingredients. The restaurant also caters for all tastes by providing a large selection of the best wines of the region, which are worth sampling. The owner is always around willing to exchange some kind words with all her clients. We really had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. For this reason I highly recommend going to the Weisser Bock! See you soon!"

"so let’s start with appetizers: They are those common chicken skewers and rice spring rolls with typical sauce. Would commend for its Peanut sauce at least. The Main; Pad Thai: So I ordered this one with Shrimp as to check if they do the same as what authentic Thai peeps do. Comparable to Authentic one, this one is ok but lacks of a bit taste. I wouldn’t say its bad but somehow, I have the feeling that they toned down the taste to cater for german palate. Which is, I find it not so authentic. But don’t get me wrong, It is still ok. I commend those big protions of Shrimp at the top. Those are kinda on top class quality. Drink; Thai Icetea: For this one, Its very Good Overall for this Restaurant, I will give it a 4 star for its close to authentic Thai dishes they offer. But if they want to really be an “ Authentic Thai Restaurant”, I would suggest to stick to Original Thai Recipe and never tone down the Taste. Even so, for sure Germans would still eat here."

"this is the casser we got when I asked for a special Falafel cashier and a Halumi cashier. the dinge have deteriorated in terms of service and product. we loved this place earlier and have been visiting him for more than 5 years following the days of the old town to its new location. this is not the last time they gave us the worst selection. many times in succession with non-standard switch selection - I feel totally zoomed and cheated for something I paid 7.5. euro x 2 = 15 euro total!"

During our dinner, Patrick came out from the kitchen to offer both insights on the cuisine and even important historical lessons about the cuisine. The food is delicious and crafted with attention to detail, including a wonderful Lamb Berger, Cordon Bleu, and Jaeger Schnitzel. If you are ever in Heidelberg, I implore you to make/take some time with Patrick and his staff to enjoy some fine cuisine and elaborate conversation. Patrick goes above and beyond to make it an experience rather than just a meal."

"We stopped at Darwisch for dinner after coming into town on a group tour. It was within walking distance of our hotel and the center of town. We’d never eaten Persian food before, and everything was incredibly delicious. I don’t know what marinade was put...on the chicken, but it was tender and savory. Every dish was excellent. Fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The staff weren’t English speakers, but we were able to do fine pointing at the menu. (They did have English menus The only downside was that the staff didn’t let us know their credit card machine was broken until after we were presented with the bill. We had cash, but others in our group did not. It would have been helpful to know that before ordering."

Da muss jeder entscheiden, wir er oder sie es mag. Die Wraps waren aber echt perfekt! Der Service war nett und sehr schnell. Im Endeffekt ist es hier eine der besten Restaurants für den Preis! Drei Getränke, zwei Wraps und eine riesen Portion Chicken waren unter 35€."
