"I see many people really highly rating this place, and of course, that is fine, but I can only relay to you MY experience here. Based on the reviews here, I wish I had the experience here that others had. First, this place is so...far from great, it's not even funny. It's certainly not horrible, but overall, our experience here was average (and I think that's being generous). Two of us came here for an early dinner, so we had no problem getting a table, it was not busy. I ordered a salmon pasta, which was decent. It was good, not great. But before I ordered the pasta, I ordered a minestrone soup and I sure wished that I didn't. It was, by far, the worst minestrone soup I have ever had. It was nothing more than semi-warm water with a meager sprinkling of very crunchy vegetables in it. It was very bland and tasted as if it was hardly cooked at all. Tinned soup tastes better, sincerely. So, between my salmon pasta (which was decent) and the alleged minestrone soup, the food quality of my dinner was average, at best. The person eating dinner with me ordered a lasagna and it was delicious! She was very pleased with it and thankfully she could not eat it all, so I had about bites of it and it was wonderful. The lasagna, which I didn't even order, was the best part about this restaurant. As bad as my alleged minestrone soup was, that was not the worst part of our experience. The service was the worst. It's not so much that the service was bad, per se, it's just that it was VERY slow. It took at least minutes just to bring out bottled water, another minutes to bring out bread, and at least another minutes to bring out dinner. Mind you, it was not busy, it was about and we ordered everything all at the same time (so really, our mains/entrees took about mins). The service was friendly, but very slow. I should really have counted my blessings though because there was another couple who sat down at a table two tables away from ours not even minutes after we arrived, and by the time that we finished dinner and left, they still did not have their dinner served to them (yes, they ordered because we heard them order). They were quite visibly angry with the sloth-like service, and they well should have been. That was their experience and again, I can only review what I experienced, but part of my experience is also what I saw, and seeing is believing. If it weren't for the VERY slow service and the wretched minestrone soup then I would have rated this place a out of but bath-water soup and very slow service will kill a review every time. out of I think, for our experience is bequeathing an early Christmas gift. Would I go to Da Vinci again? No. Their lasagna was delicious, so fair play, but you can find delicious lasagna in MANY places and you can find better minestrone soup anywhere, including in a tin upon supermarket shelf."

restaurant for friends, family or even free time. the personal is all Italian and lets them feel like home. eating is really good to very good trips. I recommend it totally!

We enjoyed our visit to this restaurant . We sat at the bar as all tables booked ! Nice and friendly waiters/bar staff and food was good . Book a table in advance and enjoy the ambiance .

the dinner was delicious. mine was the lasagna and salad...delicious! the other selections the family enjoyed were with noodles with mushrooms, octopus which i was told was perfect like the others.

Took a chance and turned up to get a table but full so booked for following evening. Everything perfect. Great authentic food. Busy but good service. Small but excellent wine list. We’ve booked to go again.

we had really good pasta for lunch. both dishes were fresh and delicious, the staff was friendly and the prices were not cheap, but also not too expensive. Unfortunately, the waiting time for eating was really long and there is pure brot, without butter. or oil and balsamico served before eating.

Set at a roadside, this corner restaurant is alittle piece of Italy. On a good day you can probably sit outside too. The ambiance inside was lovely nonethless. The pizza was perfect. I did not understad though why we were not served the bread basket...ike everyone else. But my friend advised me not to ask about it. Still will I go there again? Yes!

we had an evening meal in this beautiful and cozy restaurant with good star-clear serviettes. the menu was generous. but we just ordered a light food including antipasto platter and a pizza just to pair with our drinks. the pizza was great. the service was also great and attentive. the price is not cheap, as it is mentioned here with dollar signs. (I would give, but it was worth it. we liked the place and recommend it.

My wife and I were visiting Heidelberg (my first, her second visit), this restaurant was near our hotel, looked good and had good Trip Advisor reviews so we had dinner there on Friday August It was easy to find (on a corner), we ate...outside which was good except for the bees and flies (no worse than normal for outside dining). The food, I had fried calamari, my wife had veal, was good but not outstanding. Their wine list was very good with good price points. The best part of the evening was the server, ?, he was on top of everything and provided great service as compared to the mediocre service typical in Europe.
