"We booked in for afternoon tea after my daughter gifted me a voucher from their website for Mother’s Day. We visited on a very hot Sunday afternoon. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who took us through to the conservatory area where soft modern music was playing, sat us down at a table laid with pretty china plates and tea cups and took our drink preferences (tea or coffee). Drinks arrived within a few minutes together with a jug of iced water. Service was very relaxed but professional. They were very busy hosting parties, but our food was served about 35 mins after arrival. I’m sure it would be quicker if they hadn’t had parties to cater for. The savoury offerings were: finger sandwiches (egg mayo, ham tomato mustard, tuna mayo and cheese and pickle). warm sausage rolls and warm tartlets. The sweet ones: warm scones with ham cream, lemon tartlets and chocolate brownies. Everything was really tasty and plentiful. Extra tea or coffee could be had if desired but we got three delicious cups each from our teapot so needed no more. We had to take a doggy bag home with the cakes we couldn’t manage! All in all, it was lovely and I’d happily revisit. 1 star lost as the conservatory was uncomfortably warm despite air conditioning being on. Not really their fault as it was scorching out, but it made for a slightly less enjoyable stay. It would also be nice if you could choose your fillings? Just a suggestion to “up the game” and become the go to place for afternoon tea?"

Vegetarian options were poor but my husband really enjoyed his Cod dish. Dessert was disappointing as well. I'm sure the main non-veg dishes would have been nice.

Customer service prior to and on the day was excellent. Lunch was served in a small dining room, which was cosy and comfortable. The food was all extremely good, although the portions are quite small. It did encourage most of us to have pudding!

Working a night shift I emailed to enquire if there were any tables available for myself and my wife to go and enjoy a meal on our 1st day off together for a long time. Was told that they had one available and that I should call to book. When I called I was told it was fully booked. Terrible customer service.

The Hadley Park is located in a luxurious and tranquil area. The restaurant is clean and has very friendly staff. We had a family meal there for Mother's Day. The food was a bit too fancy for my taste, but we did have an annoying magician moving around between courses. However, all the staff were very friendly.

The staff at this restaurant are caring, enthusiastic, passionate, and attentive. However, the rooms are in need of attention and the bar lacks variety. The main disappointment for me was the restaurant. The menu boasts "triple cooled chips," which are actually just frozen chips that have been cooked. The "superfood salad" promises quinoa and pomegranate, but the pomegranate was missing and the quinoa was barely noticeable. When we inquired about the homemade desserts, we received an embarrassed response and heard the word "microwave" mentioned frequently. My colleague ordered the pavlova, which looked unappetizing. Unfortunately, Hadley Park, you have missed the mark.

We visited on a sunny June afternoon for our anniversary there was a wedding on in the main hall which did concern us slightly as we worried we might be a little neglected in favour of service for the wedding but our fears were unfounded and things actually worked in our favour we got our own private room and the service was pleasant and consistent throughout. The only slight issue was that they are unable to alter the volume mix for music between the different rooms, so we did get blasted with super loud Ed Sheeran (sigh) at a couple of points when they cranked it up during the ceremony next door. The afternoon tea itself though was really good my wife went for the traditional version whils...

I visited this restaurant with two friends for an afternoon tea to celebrate a special occasion. When I made the reservation, I specifically mentioned that it was a 60th birthday celebration and requested a table by a window with a nice view. I was assured that this could be accommodated. However, upon arrival, we were seated at a table overlooking the driveway and a dark hedge, which was disappointing. The quality of the food was also lacking - the sandwiches were made with cheap sliced bread and ordinary fillings. The onion tartlets were decent, but the sausage rolls were subpar, appearing as if they were store-bought and reheated. The cakes were passable, although it seemed unlikely that...

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
