Kneipe Hafthorn - Carta

Realy awesome burgers, efficient staff and great beers that compliment the burgers. Real German portions and great atmosphere on a summers night.

Visited this place with a group of friends. I wasnt dissapointed a bit. Place is feeling the teen spirit. The ambience and crowd is youthful and the beers are excellent. The service is a bit slow.

a freindly place for all ages but mainly students crowd, Chech beer Litowel and germen local beer but no craft beer which I consider rather backward, also possible to eat, burgers look really fine and filling. Recommended Ver carta

This is on my go to places while staying in Potsdam. Plenty of beers on tap in a nice little Courtyard where you can sit outside. The food is also excellent. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries and it was awesome. I never walked put of here disappointed.

Great atmosphere ! Visited lots of times with my partner and our group of friends! Really good value and friendly staff ! Our group spoke German but there are English menus and English speaking staff. Recommend going early to get a table. Can't wait to go back again!!

This place was recommended by a friend who lives in town. It is a kind of pub that preserves some characteristics of the traditional "kneipe". It opens at 6pm and serves also some food (burgers, salads, etc.), but generally people go there just for a beer (good selection, though). Ver carta

If you had a draining day in the heat what better way to calm down over some food with the cousin and her husband in a casual beer garden... With this heat there’s almost nothing like that first sip of a nice cold drink...outside in the shadow of some enormous tree... For that this place does deliver. Friendly service, easy-going beergarden atmosphere and classic “Kneipenfood” is what you get when you stop by here.

The place has a nice vibe to it, its one of those places where you could just go there to hang out, but they have the added bonus of having those big delicious burgers. It gave me the feeling of being of home-made but still with care and flavor! The size of the Mexican burger was bigger than my ego. In a short stay in Potsdam I was suggested this place for the burgers, but I didn't believe how big it was going to be. I ordered a bunch of stuff before seeing it and I almost didn't finish it, I only did finish it because it was so good!When you go there and order one (DO IT!), you will see.

Went there a couple of times, never had a meat burger, but the vegetarian dishes are equally ample and taste good enough - if you don't mind your food being a bit greasy (but hey, it's fries, burgers, potato wedges and stuff like that; you don't come here for wellness!)The prices match the quality, it's not overpriced, but it's not spectacularly cheap either. The staff is sometimes really nice, and sometimes a little bit unattentive and tends to be irritated if one approaches them - and not vice versa. Still, the outdoor area is great, the overall athmosphere is authentic and I will visit again. Ver carta
