"We found this fine small local restaurant whilst staying nearby at a hotel with no evening meals available . Having been wandering the area for some time we happened across this little oasis on a small side road near a number of detached homes. Although hidden away from the main roads, we found this little restaurant to be wonderful. we were welcomed by a young lady whose English was excellent and who was able to explain all the local dishes to us with ease. the menu is varied and interesting being mostly local and traditional dishes, the food was of superb quality, freshly cooked to order and not to be rushed. There was a variety of sweets and beverages to finish your meal. This is a family run establishment and has a warm in inviting atmosphere, it is not 'touristy' but a place where the local people congregate. They can accommodate large parties and they are on the river bank with an outside eating area overlooking the river and being the headquarters of the local rowing club. Prices were most acceptable, service and hospitality first class. We were lucky to find this local jewel and went back for a further visit. Worthy of a visit and with a warm, welcoming atmosphere."

Viewing the river, this is a guest house and a restaurant. If the weather is good, you can sit and watch the boats pass by the river. It is less than 5 minutes walk from Hotel Spree-Idyll and far...superior food. Wide selection and beautiful desserts. The girl who served us spoke excellent English and helped us with the menu and our choice. Very good wine at a very reasonable price. Worth a visit!

For some time we have been walking over this small oasis on a small side street near a series of detached houses. Although... away from the main roads, we found this little restaurant to be wonderful.
